Run - don't walk - to buy this item. Absolutely the softest blanket ever, and it will keep you warm. The blanket is actually bi-fold sewn (imagine a large blanket folded over once, then sewn) and is incredibly insulating. Perfect year round and especially now for Spring/Summer where you need some protection at night from air conditioning. Beyond cozy and comforting. I saw it in white and a beautiful soft pink, I purchased the soft/celadon green. You won't be sorry.

I bought this because it was cotton, but the tag on it says 100% polyester!

Despite that, it is super soft and cozy. We're keeping it, but just be aware that it's not as advertised.

This is a nice blanket for the price. Very soft and warm, and it is easy to wash. It will take a long time in the dryer. I put it one on the guest bed and always get compliments from our guests.

The only downside is this: the blanket is two layers sewn together at the edges. When making the bed, it can take a little extra time to get it to lay flat and even all around. On a twin size it is easy to snap the blanket a few times and flatten out the wrinkles, but on a king size it is not so easy. If you are picky about having a perfect looking bed, it will take a few extra minutes to get the blanket just right.

I put it on every bed in the house...the kids love it too. I have one on my king bed and it is worth the extra few minutes to make the bed.

I completely agree with the other review. My husband & I got a King size white one for our wedding gift last June. It is the softest blanket I have ever felt! It's very thick & warm. I get cold easy so I love it, my husband on the other hand thinks it is to warm for the weather now but loves the blanket itself. In fact I will be buying one for our son for Christmas. He's always trying to steal it from our room or "trade" his comforter for ours because its so soft. I would definitely recommend this blanket!

This blanket is wonderful! I am very picky about "bedding" in general... especially blankets used for warmth! It has always been hard for me to find nice, warm, soft blankets that are not itchy or full of static. I finally found it with this one.

Shabby Chic offered this blanket in a baby blue last year... and it looks like the color in this picture. This blanket is not baby blue-- the color is a very pretty blue/green.

This is also the perfect gift... I bought it in white to give as a baby shower gift for a friend and I will buy them as Christmas gifts this year for family members.

(I have not experienced any "shedding".)
