I purchased for my 4 yr. old daughter's room which was already painted blue. The comforter is very pale blue, but the sheet set has darker blue butterflies as well as pink ones. The striped bedskirt is pastel blue, pink, green and brings all the colors together. It all washed very well...some wrinkles but it's all cotton and very soft and comfy. My daughter and I love it! My daughter said the Shabby Chic cloth banner is a must have to complete the look:-)
