I purchased two of these lamps in store one week ago. They are pricey but " Simply Adorable". The base, and shades, are "sold seperatley" so with the "mix and match" you can choose your lamp shade color. My lamp shade is green and it accents the green colors in my "Shabby and Chic" sheet set. The lamp base looks as if it was made from crystals and is a heavy "sturdy" base. depending on where you place them, the only decision would be, " large -or- small?".

I redid my home working with a designer. He absolutely COULD NOT believe that this lamp was so inexpensive. There's even a little channel cut out in the bottom for the cord. And it's glass, not plastic.
The shade needs an upgrade...but it's still an excellent, excellent buy.

Purchased two of these lamps from the Target.com internet site and took advantage of the free shipping. The lamps arrived in PERFECT condition -- very well packaged, no damage. The lamps are a gorgeous heavy crystal-like acrylic with pure white linen shades (19.5 inches high with the shade), and the look is perfect with my sophisticated shabby chic bedroom. Very feminine, but not over the top -- love these lamps!
