Just What We Were Looking For

This dressing table is just what we were looking for. Our budget didn't allow us to spend tons of money but this table looked as good as some of the ones that are 3 and 4 times as much. My husband and dad put it together in a very short time and it's a sturdy table which is one of the things that we had on our "it has to be" list. It also matches our crib and dresser perfectly. I'm really glad that we bought this table. Our baby is now 6 months old and the table still looks/is as sturdy as it was before it was used.

I am actually shocked that they are still selling this dangerous changing table. I bought it because it matched all my other furniture. However, it is made of very thin melamine and there are no support structures, so if you put anything on it, it saggs and the shelves come out of the 1/8" or 1/4" grooves they slip into. Almost immediately I realized that it would never hold the weight of the baby. I wonder how long the other mothers have used theirs? Mine collapsed before the baby was 3mo! This product is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Matches-Simplicity Ellis 4-in-1 Cherry Crib Perfectly!

We put this together over the weekend. It is perfect for the price, very easy to assemble. It comes with the mattress pad and the safety straps are attached to the wood. We were really pleased with how well it matches our Simplicity Ellis 4-in-1 Crib in Cherry. It is not as high quality of wood as the crib, but it is perfect for it's purpose, not sure why some of the reviews are calling it cheap, I think it is perfectly priced and sturdy. I would highly recommend this, especially if you are on a budget like we are, it looks way more expensive than it is.

Didn't last through kid number 2

Good for the price, but won't stay in great shape. By kid number 2, the finish was quite scuffed, and the shelves popped out, INCLUDING THE ONE THAT THE BABY LIES ON. Luckily, I noticed this before he fell clear through. I recommend that you lift your changing pad and check that the tabletop is still attached to keep your child safe.

I bought this table b/c it was the cheapest. I really wanted something more expensive, but when it showed up it looks exactly like the more expensive tables. The only issues were a few teeny scratches. I'm 9 mo's pregnant and I put it together myself in 30 mins. It is pretty, and sturdy and fits perfectly into a corner. I've stacked hundreds of diapers on it and the shelves don't bow. I recommend this one!

If I could, I would give this item ZERO stars. My husband put this item together and I kid you not, the top changing table area was made out of plywood. DEFINITELY not sturdy enough to place a baby on. We returned the item promptly.

bad bad table

Thank God my son didn't get hurt but this very good looking changing table has a very weak construction and bad design. The two bottom shelves fell off within days. The top one didn't fall because it has a metal bar holding it in place, so in the middle of my frustration I kept asking myself "why didn't they put metal bars under all three shelves?!". After two of the shelves were gone without remedy the whole thing was loose and literally crumbled on me more than once. I kept putting it back together because I needed it so bad and my son loved it up there, but when he was about five months old I had to let it go. The price is right and you are going to be temted to buy it, but before you do, remember that it's cheap for a reson. If you have a quite little baby you might be ok [I guess] but if your kid is a strong active boy like mine you are going to need something better.

Good price, looks great, but it did not feel as sturdy as I expected. Shelving is not made from real wood but from a composite wood. We ordered couple more of the metal brackets for all three shelves and that made a big difference. Over all it's great table if you improve the sturdiness.

Let me tell you. I bought this in black. Love the look but, the two rail pieces on the "baby" top shelf are split from in between the screw holes down along the rail. They were patched up with carpenters glue (u can tell). I threw the changing pad out that came with this. [...] Also if you get black get some touch up paint. Mine came with scratches. I hope this holds up for the 6mo. I will be actually using it. From there on baby gets changed on the floor etc... The table looks good I just hope it holds up [...].

Good price, however I had to have real wood shelving made in place of the wood composite shelves. They were way too flimsy and did not hold the weight of my baby or supplies.
