As others say, the boots are actually navy and not black background. Also, I had to return the boots because they were too big. I am a very normal size 8 but these run very big and were even loose on my girlfriend who is a size 8.5M. I am hesistant to order the size 7 in case they are too small and there are no half sizes.

These boots are great. A couple of things... They are, however, navy not black with a blue trim not grey. It is described this way in the products details, but the picture online looks a little different. They are still very cute. One more thing, DO get a size smaller than usual. The reviews of others regarding sizes were very true. You can always return/exchange them for a different size, so no worries. Buy these! My whole suite has them!

Although I love these boots now, when I ordered them, I thought they were black with grey trim. They're actually navy with blue polka dots. Not quite what I expected, but they're good nonetheless.

only complaint i have is that they were on back order.. not happy about the shipping process. but i can't lie. completely worth it. and reading everyone elses reviews helped! i'm norm a size 8, i got a 7 and they are PERFECT!
def a must have!

PLUS! they have an amazing tred. very happy to have that - i'm sure this upcoming winter won't be easy here in NJ.

Very cute and comfy rainboots... The trim is a blue gray color, and the stars are cute without being overly cutesy. There was a strong rubber smell when I took them out of the box, but nothing that a night of airing out won't fix. They are lined which helps with the comfort and keeps your toes toasty. They do run very large - I am a 8-8.5 and based on other reviews I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. Enough room for winter weight socks but still OK with regular socks.

My only real complaint about the boots themselves - the "adjustable strap" is not really as great as it sounds. Being made of rubber, it sticks to the plastic buckle like super glue and requires herculean effort to budge. Good luck doing this without ripping the strap off. I gave up, but fortunately the top of the boots allows me to tuck both my jeans and my non-skinny calves in with no problem.

I got these boots a couple weeks ago and love them! They're very comfortable, warm, and cute (although they look kind of little kidish). I thought they would smell really strongly like rubber, but they don't really unless you put your face close to them. I would suggest ordering a size or half size down though, because I ususally wear a 6.5-7 and a 6 fit me perfectly with enough room for bulky socks.
