I believe that this is one of the best investments I have made for myself. I have been looking for something that would offer me a "dewy" and "natural" look without the price of expensive brushes. I looked on Sephora online and they offer a blending sponge for [..........]and more if you purchase cleaner. I find that using mild baby soap workes just the same for cleaning makeup tools. I wet it a little so it dosen't absorb my foundation and using dabbing motions to blend my makeup. My husband complimented me on my face thinking that I had no makeup on. When I told him that I tried a different way to put it on he suggested that I continue my method! I am more than pleased with this product and the affordable price! I finally feel the long and tiresome search for the "perfect" makeup tool has come to an end!

I normally just read reviews but after trying this sponge I just had to write my own. This is by far the best foundation applicator on the market! I am amazed at the difference in coverage with this. It is kind of an airbrushed look. All you do is keep dabbing and blending. It fits perfectly in your hand and is so easy to use. I have tried the foundation brushes but never get just that right look. This is well worth the money and I am positive it will be one of your favorites. Sonia you have outdone yourself on this one.

I bought this product based on high recommendations of YouTube "Guru's" but I was not impressed. It requires 2-3 times more product for the same coverage as using my Mac 109 (which I still love!!!) or Mac 187. I'm no Mac snob by any means I live for my drug and department store deals, but this was sadly a let down for me. Especially since I ordered 2. I'm sure I'll find a use for them, but not as my go-to foundation applicator.

Run, don't walk to your nearest Target and stock up on these new design sponges for applying foundation and for other uses.
I got three of them and plan to get more. I use one for applying foundation, blush and sunless tanning mousse to my face. The design of this sponge is awesome. The skinny end you can use to get in the corners by your eyes for applying concealer or foundation. These sponges you can use with a stippling action and it is great.
I squirt on some of my sunless tanning mousse on the fat end side and put it on my face before bed and in the morning I have a tan with no streaks or anything just by using this sponge to apply it!!!!!!!

I bought this to compare with another similiar sponge that is double the cost. I love it. I didn't give it 5 stars because it doesn't come with any usage or washing instructions.

I should have known better than to try and save a buck. I regularly use the BeautyBlender (the pink egg) and have heard this sponge compared repeatedly. They are nothing alike. This one is hard, not bouncy. It doesn't swell when you add water. When I tried to clean it, none of the makeup would come off. And now I can't even return it. I might as well have burned [the money].

This is the best cosmetic tool that I have ever used. My makeup foundation looks flawless and goes on effortlessly. You have to dab it on instead of swipes. If I could, I would give this 100 stars. I have tried a lot of products and tools and I must say this is by far the best out there. The key is to wash out the sponge before the first use to minimize the smell. I don't really mind the smell that much. You will never touch a brush again.

I actually own mac 109, 187, and 190 and I think that using the sponge is easier and it gives a nicer finish. The foundation that I use is the Dior and it works well.
What I do is run it under tap water and squeeze the water out and let it soak up again and I do this about 3 times and the last time squeeze all the water out and by this time the sponge is really springy!

Good, but be aware of the smell

I used both this sponge and the Beauty Blender to accurately compare the two, and can honestly say that this one is just as effective at half the price with just one difference: the smell. The Beauty Blender sponge has no discernible scent. The Sonia Kashuk sponge has a strong smell reminiscent of gasoline, indicating that it contains some sort of petroleum product. It wasn't a deal breaker for me, but the smell may be offputting to more sensitive noses. It's for this reason alone that I gave it 4 stars.

This product is a life changer!! I have used all kinds of sponges in my time from the very most expensive to the least expensive and this one is the BEST!
It allows you to get around every little crevice of your face with the pointed end and the rounded end you can use for an all over blending. It is worth every penny and more. I plan to turn all my girlfriends on to this sponge. It will deliver a more polished look than you have ever experienced!!
