this little thing is the best... now i used to have an ipod... but this is way better!!! you can store a lot of music (i had 128 songs) and a lot of videos. the videos i had were the family guy movie...the stewie kills lois episode...monster's inc. ...mean girls...and a bug's life...and the south park episode of micheal jackson/jefferson... all at the same time! i love this thing... oh and you can store a lot of pics also.. i only had 42 though... but whatever... i hope you enjoy it!!!!

I purchased this on sale and thought, well if it does not work good, I have not lost much. It is a great player, sound is great and the movie capability and picture quality is great. My granddaughter has an IPod, but she is jealous of the amount of songs mine will hold and that it plays videos.

My husband and I just purchased 2 of these and couldn't be happier. I have purchased i-pods in the past for my grandkids, and wasn't overly impressed with them. But the Sony's are great!! First - the sound on these is fantastic. Second, the ease of loading music is outstanding. My husband is NOT computer literate, and even he can load his own music. That says something to me!!!!! We got these at a steal . . . . I couldn't have purchased one 4 GB i-pod for what I paid for both of these. It's a great all around package -- value, sound, ease of use. I agree with other reviewerss -- the ear phones are very uncomfortable -- I had to buy new ones, and I really wish there were accessories, especially an armband case. But, slipping it into my pocket works just as well, so I am quite happy with the money I saved!!! And with those being the only negatives -- this was a no brainer purchase!!!

I have owned the ipod [...] and [....] (both 4GB).I didn't like using itunes and the Sansa player was awesome until the headphone jack went after 2 years of careful use. So far, I am very happy with this purchase. It has all the features I want (video and FM radio) and a beautiful, crisp display! It's small but functions are easily accessed. The sound quality is great. I like all the different ways you can sort and search your music. I had it loaded up with music within minutes thru windows xp media player- with no glitches! I am really enjoying this player and bought it on clearance for low cost. Which is an amazing price for this much memory and features. I have always been happy with Sony products in the past...so we will see how this stands up to their reputation.

I looked for days for an MP3 player that would be better then my daughters...Didn't want to get an IPod. Came across the Walkman...loved it. It is cute, red, and easy to use. No software needed. Just plugged it into my laptop and synced music from Windows Media Player. I put on music and pictures. Have not found out how to put on videos yet..next on my list. Bought different headphones...those were uncomfortable. Would like to figure out if I can have pictures instead of the clock as my screensaver.....

After researching mp3 players for about a month, my sweet husband surprised me with this one, the one that I wanted. It has been my constant companion ever since! The sound quality is amazing! The screen is bright and vibrant. It is very easy to load songs and pictures using Windows Media Player (I haven't tried loading video yet). This is quite a step up from my 1st mp3 player (Creative Muvo 256 mb). The radio antenna is strong and the sound is clear. The buttons are easy to use and the menu is easy to navigate. You can look at pictures while the music is playing. The pros: easy to load songs, sound quality,looks good,user friendly,bright screen, radio. The cons: not able to delete from player, not able to create playlists on player (have to create on media player, then download), can't use while it's recharging. Also ,the headphones that came with it are weird, one side longer than the longer

I did a lot of research before purchasing this Sony MP3 player. I have used an I-Pod before, and the sound quality on the Sony, is by far top notch! Easy to copy music files into too! I'm one of those people that like figuring things out before using the manual. It was so easy to set up, there was really no point in reading it. So far I have about 400 songs and 30 pictures on it, and it still has plenty of space left. I am extremely happy with this product and for the price range I think it is the best one out there. Cons: Small screen for viewing movies. Uncomfortable earphones included. Lack of accessories.

Pros: Easy to set up. You can copy all your music files on your computer and just paste them into the folder in the player. Took all of 3 min to copy 108 songs. The sound quality beats my wifes iPod. The display screen is bright and easy to see. It is small so watching movies is a bit too much for my eyes, but the picture quality is awesome. I would recommend this one to any one.
