    These Sony Powered AC/DC portable speakers are extremely lightweight and easy to take with you when you need to hook up with a personal portable stereo while you're on the go. These highly sensitive, 2-watt speakers are capable of producing big, wide-range sound with deep bass despite the speakers' small size. Features an on/off switch and volume control; built-in Mega Bass sound; 2"-diameter driver units; 6-ohm impedance; 82dB sensitivity; and a 3.3' cord. The 2-way power supply allows for portable operation with batteries (sold separately) or plugged into a standard household AC outlet with optional AC adapter (sold separately). Speakers can also be used without batteries as a passive speaker system. Carrying pouch included. Silver. 5Hx3-3/8Wx3-1/2D".

I purchased these because I thought the price was right. I was wrong. They have very poor sound quality and in order to even hear them at all the volume on my player has to be full on. I will know better next time, buy something else!
