The 'Little Black Dress' of Desks

I bought this desk and matching hutch in the 'white' color (note: it's not pure white, nor is it cream... maybe somewhere in the middle). They were delivered, together, in two business days. The desk came fully assembled (minus the legs, of course), and it took about five minutes to attach the legs. The hutch took about an hour to put together, as it had over thirty pieces of wood and was very tedious. The baskets look a lot nicer in the photo than they actually are, and they are a bit cheap looking, as you have to assemble those, too (5 parts to each one... again, tedious!). The pull-out drawer has a fold-down front and no sides, turning it into a sliding keyboard tray. Both keyboard tray and hutch drawers slide with ease, as the whole desk is VERY high quality. This desk is SOLID WOOD, which is so hard to find at a price like this. It is so nicely painted and so smoothly polished, it looks like I paid five times as much for it. I highly recommend this classic and affordable piece, and am planning on purchasing the rest of the collection!

I have been shopping and shopping for a desk that I could afford and didn't look cheap and I found it with this one. Arrived in 2 days, easy to put together, sturdy and really impressed with the quality for the price. Love it!

Wanted an affordable white desk and hutch that was solid, durable, and stylish...got that and more with this wonderful desk and hutch combo. Took a while to put together (did it by myself) but the finished result was worth it... is a quality piece of furniture that fits perfectly into limited space and looks great with any decor! Its the right height and offers plenty of hideaway space for all my desk needs. You'll not be disappointed!!

I ordered the desk with the hutch. They look just as good as they do on the site. It took longer to arrive than expected, but worth the wait. The main desk part was really easy to put together. The hutch took me two nights. There are a lot of pieces! But not difficult to put together. There is quality in this desk that you don't find with [another retailer's] furniture, down to the stability, the white tabs that go over the hardware to the look and feel. This desk is a great buy!

I was so pleased when I received this desk set. It is a sweet little set perfect for a small office. I put it together myself. Though the desk and hutch were both easy to assemble, the hutch was time consuming due to the fact there there were a lot of parts. I actually like putting stuff together so it didn't bother me that I spent a whole afternoon doing so but if you don't have the patience for it, make sure you have someone lined up who will do the job for you. I loved that the parts were grouped according to the steps that they were intended for. Good deal too - I think between the price cut, the 15% off orders over [price] and the free shipping, I paid just a little over [price] for the whole set.

These came quickly and in good condition. The desk was very easy to put together, it only involves screwing the legs on. The desk is heavy, sturdy and comparable in quality to furniture I have gotten from high-end retailers. The hutch is nice also, easy assembly but time consuming; it took me 2 1/2 hours by myself because you have to assemble EVERYTHING even the baskets. Materials needed for assembly were all organized by the steps in which you will need to use them, I thought this was very helpful. Overall very happy with this product.

I just purchased this desk and hutch for my child for Christmas and I am very pleased with the quality, size, color,sturdiness and value. It will definitely accomodate my child through high school and probably college! The hutch did take about 2 hours to assemble (many parts) however, well worth it!

I order this desk from Target.com and came about 3 days later in two seperate boxes. The desk was very simple to put together, took about 15 minutes with two people. The hutch was damaged when I opened the box, so had to return it but when we put it together it took about 2hrs. Not that it was hard but just had tons of pieces. I would recommend this desk to anyone. Probably not the best desk for homework and everyday use just because there isn't too much space but for bills and that sort of thing, its great!
