This table is nice only if it is going to sit in a carpeted area. I'm not sure why it says "kitchen" on the side of the box, it's clearly an end table for a living room area. If you sit it onto hardwood you will need cushions under the legs or it will wobble. The basket is awful, it comes in 5 pieces and you have to put the basket together. Also, the material out of which the basket is made has some sort of oily coating on it. If you bother spending the full retail for this item, you'll probably want to either not do so, or plan to spend extra for a different basket. The drawer wobbles as well for some reason, lack of quality control one presumes.

I love the charm of this living room set. I have the coffe table and two end tables. I almost didn't order it based on all the bad reviews...but I have to disagree with the reviews. The baskets have never fallen apart on me (and I have two toddlers!!) I get compliments on it and everyone loves the cute baskets. Plus I have way more storage space. They are not big pieces, but I like that because it doesn't take up too space in my living room. The baskets do mark up the bottom shelf a little, but not enough to make me wish I hadn't gotten the set. Also, the tops of the pieces have a country look, as if they were made of five stips of wood. Heavy and sturdy.

This is a nice piece of furniture at a bargain price. Don't let the instructions intimidate you. It's super simple to put together if you don't get hung up on the way the instructions are written. It makes sense if you look at the picture and the individual parts. The piece is surprisingly sturdy; I use it as a printer stand and it doesn't shimmy or rock. One down side is the basket; don't bother with it. Impossible to put together and falls apart if you breathe on it. Get a nice basket that fits instead.

We purchased this and the sofa table and are in love with both. We were looking for something in this price point for our basement game room. We definitely got more than we bargained for. It was easy to assemble,both were done within an hour. That includes the basket for this end table. It isn't difficult to assemble the basket as one reviewer implied. This is a great product for anyone wanting this look for a modest price. I'd definitely buy this set again.

I just received this item today and it took no more than 30 minutes to assemble. Great instructions with the assembly pieces perfectly sorted and labeled. The basket was the most difficult part...but even that only took 5 minutes. Sturdy table, looking forward to using it in the office. Don't hesitate to order!

I have had this table for a year, and I have to say it was the easiest piece I've ever put together, and one of the best quality "assembly required" furniture I've ever seen. I think it took me about 30 minutes to put together ( and the basket was probably more difficult than the table!) I've only had it on carpet so I cannot verify whether it wobbles or not. It has made an excellent nightstand and it looks like something out of an expensive catalogue.

We are so pleased with this table,bought 2 end tables and the matching coffee table, fairly easy to put together,looks great,solid, sort of like a 'poor man's pottery barn', but well worth the money,will be buying the matching side table soon. So far I have not been disappointed with Target furniture. Great selection and quick delivery. Perfect for apartment or small living rooms.

This was super easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and the drawer has metal tracks so it is very smooth. It is a beautiful table with a nice finish.
