Nice looking fan, as fans go, but SUPER loud. Also, I think the reason this has a remote is that it blows so hard (no pun intended) that even on low, you can bend down in front of it to change the settings.

Pros: Powerful!
Cons: What?? I can't hear you over the fan!

The fan itself is very nice - a little louder than our other fan similar to this one. However, the problem is that the fan is very sensitive. Anytime you push a button on our tv or dvd remote - the fan turns on and changes speeds. In a larger room, where there is further distance from any other appliances, you don't get the interference - but for a small room or even a master bedroom where you have a tv or use a remote -- be careful!

The remote works wondefully! The only drawback is that my Dish remote, when turning the TV on or off, turns the fan on or advances the speed. The fan does not rely on just "beeps" to tell you that you have advanced a speed, but has lights on the fan for the three speeds. The breeze feature is something I really like although my wife doesn't.

I love this fan-it helps me sleep @ night. I love the loudness of it-it drowns out the traffic on the street, just wish it blew cooler air as my bedroom upstairs is like a furnace..

this fan is definitely powerful. on low, it felt like a small hurricane, but the sound killed it for me. this thing sounds like a jet engine when it's on. i have it it my bedroom, and when it's on i can't watch tv unless i blast the volume. the sound is completely distracting and that's only on a low setting. now i have to take it apart and return it. if you can put it in an area where the noise is not an issue, then this thing is perfect...........otherwise it's useless in my opinion. i don't like having to choose between the fan or the tv.

We bought this fan to help our bedroom feel cooler at night. I liked how it was on a stand, in order to keep the cooler air at a higher level. I especially liked how it can be remote-controlled.

However, after 2 nights I will be returning it. On high and even medium speed it makes loud buzzing vibration noises. It almost sounds like what you'd hear if a WWII bomber were flying high overhead.

Anyway it moves a great volume of air but it interrupted our sleep. I think I'll fork over the extra money on a Vornado.

We love this fan! The breeze setting leaves a lot to be desired, however on the low speed, it rocks! We don't think it would be good in the bedroom for sleeping due to the power, and the noise, keep it in the living room...

Although powerful, I still can't believe how incredibly NOISY this fan was--even on the lowest setting. It was so noisy that I would periodically wake up during the night because it was so annoying. "Breeze" setting is even worse. Needless to say, I returned this product.
