Super deluxe awesome kitchen for a boy or girl! January 18, 2005 Reviewer:  Olivia "olivia_michael" (Reading, PA United States)  See all my reviews >

This is absolutely the hands down best kitchen I have ever seen. A caveat here: it is complicated and difficult to put together, but definetly worth every second spent.

You have to put on ALL the stickers (border, appliances, window, footboards, etc) and this takes a careful eye and steady hand to get it right. Putting it together takes some muscle, but that's what daddys and grandpas are for! It took my hubby about 5 hours to put it together by himself (with a little help from grandpa).

I can tell you that this was the "IT" toy for X-mas last year (our daughter turned 3 in 2004)! Our daughter would nap next to it with her hand on it to make sure it wasn't leaving her! It has gotten a years worth of play and it is great.

There are two pots that when put on the front burner make either the boiling soung or the frying sound. All the appliances (except the fridge) has a keypad that makes noises. The light over the sink even comes on! We got ours on clearance at Sam's Club for $130 and it came with the 101 pc food kit along with 4 pots (with lids), 2 cups, 2 bowls, 2 plates, drink pitcher (with lid), 2 sets of utensils, spatula and large spoon.

This comes with everything you would ever need and you can "cook" right out of the box! I also love that it looks like a "real" kitchen, not a pretend pink monstrosity. It is very appropriate for a boy who loves to cook, or for a mixed sex playgroup. This is absolutely fabulous!

WONDERFUL Kitchen, the best I've seen, worth every penny! December 9, 2005 Reviewer:  Funny Mommy "Amanda S." (Tenn, USA)  See all my reviews >

We searched around alot before deciding on this kitchen. Most kitchens are too short, and a 3 year old is too tall to play with it.This one is perfect! We received this Monday, and my kids have not stopped playing with it since! They are 13 months, and 3 1/2 years, and they love it. I didnt think it was very hard to assemble, it took me about 45 minutes, no major work required. It takes quiet a few batteries, but they all go to different things. I love how the microwave, oven, dishwasher, and phone are all electronic, and each make different noises. It came with alot of pots and pans, bowls, and plates. I also love that it came with food, even thought we ended up buying extra play food. It doesnt clash with most kitchen decors, which is where I have mine, but it would be great for a bedroom or a playroom too. I love the range light, and the realistic window!! It's a nice big kitchen, with lots of storage. My kids love the sounds the stove eye makes when you sit the pan or pot on there, it's so fun!! My only complaint it that, I wish the sink made noises, my daughter often pushes the sink faucet, expecting it to make noises, but it doesnt. Other than that, this is one of the best built, best investment toys we have ever bought. I love it, and my kids will be able to play with this for years and years, you really get your money's worth with this toy.

Excellent Kitchen Set!! December 1, 2005 Reviewer:  Makenna's Mama "Jessica W" (Indianapolis, IN)  See all my reviews >

We got this for our daughter right after she turned 2 and she absolutley loves it! As in the other review, it makes all sorts of noises, and has a cordless phone that makes noises too. She has had it for a year now and still plays with it every day. Oh and it also has a little light that is over the sink, which is really cool. We also got her the matching desk, and its nice as well. Highly reccomended!! Better than other kitchens!!!

Years of play for all ages April 7, 2007 Reviewer:  Hudsyn's Mommy "Katherine" (Tampa, FL)  See all my reviews >

My mother purchased this kitchen for my daughter on her 1st birthday. She has loved it and played with it literally every day. Whenever we have friends over, their kids absolutely love it and it entertains them for hours. My daughter is now 2yo and she still loves her kitchen. I put the set together with no problem at all. Although the little light on top above the sink has never worked, the toy has a lot of really neat features that my daughter loves to play with. She carries the little phone around the house talking, and she thinks she is really cooking when she pushes the buttons on the microwave, dishwasher, and oven. Purchasing the extra food is a must, I think it comes with a 100 different little food items. This toy is great for all ages; my 11 yo neice loves to play with it too. The price was the only less than perfect thing, but I have seen a lot of kitchens that parents spend 1/2 the money on and they collect dust in a corner. Also, if you can purchase this toy in the stores it will save a bundle on shipping. Enjoy!

This kitchen is awesome. It has lights, sounds, and even a little window. I love playing with the telephone and making soups and teas with my two children. This was actually a gift and its been fun for 3 yrs now. It looks amazing but its much nicer in person. Easy to assemble. Fun for the whole family.

Best Kitchen Best Value December 30, 2006 Reviewer:  Satisfied Mom "KAM" (Florida)  See all my reviews >

The Deluxe is a lot of kitchen for the money! Large enough for two to play which is nice because I can play along with my 2 year old. The sounds are a great bonus not found on the pricier wood models. Took about an hour & half to put together, easy instructions. Comes with everything you need to begin playing, pots/pans/plates/cups/play food -great! My girl loves it and I am sure her younger brother will too when he gets older! [...]

3 years later....still love this Kitchen! November 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Homeschool Mom in TN "Amanda S." (TN)  See all my reviews >

This is a follow up review, to my previous review under the name Funny Mommy from December 2005.

Here we are three years later, and we STILL love this kitchen. My children are now 6 and 4 and play with it daily. My 6 year old daughter is still not even as tall as the kitchen. It's held up so well, nothing is broke and everything still works perfect. I cant say enough about this kitchen. It was one of the best investments we ever made. It has given them hours and hours of play. We just recently ordered the additional cookware offered from Step2, because the kids finally lost all of theirs! This has just been a really great toy. They look forward to creating new meals all the time and usually play with it once a day. Whether my daughter is pretending tea parties with her dolls, or my son pretending to make pizza for her...they enjoy it.

awesome! January 27, 2007 Reviewer:  Jessie Phelps Real Name (OK)  See all my reviews >

I have loved this kitchen as much as my 18month daughter! She recieved it for Christmas and has been playing with it every day since. We have all the food with it, which does get everywhere in the house, but has been very educational and fun for her. The kitchen is high quality, sturdy, pretty easy to put together. I love the design of it, it matches our kitchen/dining room well. She can play at hers while I'm in the kitchen. It does take alot of batteries, however. All the appliances have buttons for sounds/effects. Lots of doors to opens and drawers to pull out. Working light over sink. A great purchase!! Well worth it, she'll be able to use it for years!

Making cooking & cleaning fun!!!!! December 20, 2006 Reviewer:  Mommy of 3 "Mommy VW" (Winston-Salem, NC)  See all my reviews >

Took about 2 hours to put together. Easy flowing direction. Decals were easy to place. Some screws were harder to screw in. I think it is worth the money, more realistic than any other kitchen I looked at.

Great Investment February 11, 2009 Reviewer:  First Time Mom See all my reviews >

We got this for our son's 2nd birthday because he loves to play in our kitchen. It was so worth it! He plays with it everyday and is constantly "cooking" us food or "washing" his dishes. The imagination possibilities are endless! Definitely worth the price!
