I bought this for my daughter's 1st birthday. She and my 2 1/2 year old love it. Although she may not actually pretend to cook yet, I'm confident that this will last for years. I was surprised at how well put together it is, and how many accessories that come with it! I will recommend that you have a power screwdriver because it took me FOREVER to put together. It was worth it in the end though.

I was searching for a kitchen to get for my son that was neutral in color. This was perfect! It is VERY durable, he has thrown bigger toys at it and not one dent or ding. There is plenty of room to store all the accesories that came with the kitchen. We purchased a set of food that I believe had 100 pieces and an additional set of pots and pans and EVERYTHING fits back into the kitchen at the end of the day. Assembly did take awhile, but not nearly as long as my friend who got the wooden Melissa and Doug kitchen! I think it took us about 1 hour on Christmas Eve...maybe a little longer. But it's very sturdy and I am just thrilled that all his food and toys fit back into the kitchen!!!!

my 17mo loves this kitchen. be prepared to pick up all of the little accessories all day. she takes them and just tosses them about but hasn't learned how to "clean up" yet. spend the extra money and get this instead of the cheaper ones, it is much more sturdy and durable than other brands. [...].

We got this for our almost 2 year old daughter for Christmas. It is adorable, and she LOVES to play in it. A major hit and hours and hours of fun. It comes with no food in the accessories, so be sure you pick some up. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that it was a royal pain to put together. The instructions were clear, and it wasn't particularly hard, but it took quite a bit of time and effort. And a decent electric screwdriver.

We already have the step2 bistro but my daughter wanted a 'regular' play kitchen. So we decided to buy it for her b-day. She absolutely loved her present!Her and my son(3) love playing like they're cooking. It comes w cute little accessories but don't forget to buy the play food!
