PUTTING IT TOGETHER WILL CAUSE YOU TO DIVORCE! April 15, 2008 Reviewer:  Jacky's Mom (Florida)  See all my reviews >

This is an okay swing/play set. To put it together is just a real pain in the behind. It says 2 people, 2 hours. Took 3 people an entire day. The molded pieces didn't fit properly and the bolt system will cause you a lot of heartache. The lower portion isn't very tall. We got this 7 months ago for my son's 1st Birthday. He is 19 months old now and bangs his head going in and out of the bottom fort. The top floor of the fort sags a bit and it has already faded significantly from the sun. The slide is VERY narrow and the bumps on the slide that I thought would be fun for him are hurtful to his little rump. The ladder is ridiculously flimsy. I wouldn't recommend this.

Nice swingset for toddlers and pre-schoolers September 1, 2008 Reviewer:  TJ and Matty's Mom "music at the beach" (New York)  See all my reviews >

After looking around for a nice set for my 1 and 3 year old children, we opted to not go with one of those huge monster wood obstructions as it was toobig and WAY TOO EXPENSIVE...We priced out a few and for what you get with this set, it would cost over $2200 in the big wood version. Get real - that's nuts, right? I'd have to agree that you will need 2 people and a minimum of a dedicated 5 hours to complete the set-up. It took 2 afternoons for the hubby and I to complete only due to chasing after our 2 little ones from playing with the tools and other hazards laying around. We had the clubhouse set up in it's entirety in about 1 1/2 hours - it's the a-frames and alignment of the poles that are the killers. I do tend to disagree with other reviewers on the sturdiness of this product since there are support braces and additional screws to ensure a tight fit of the pieces to the clubhouse. It's only been a month, but it seems to be just as solid as day one. DEFINATELY get the glider if you can afford to pay the extra money. Also a bit more of a pain for set-up as it includes and additional pole and a-frame, but all worth it. That is probably the best part that my kids enjoy most - being on the swing together. Sure beats the metal rusted un-anchored set I had as a kid.

It's a great Purchase July 8, 2009 Reviewer:  When Baby's Happy, Momma's Happy (Littlerock, CA)  See all my reviews >

My 22 month old is enjoying her Lodge Center! We received the playset in good shipping condition. (Thats always a concern). It wasnt difficult to put together, and took about 3-4 hours. It is pretty sturdy with one exception, the floor "middle section" is a little saggy. I would've preferred this to be more firm. Otherwise, we are very happy with our purchase, and our daughter will enjoy for several years...
