I've been married for over 18 years and have a lovely engagement ring/wedding band that I will always cherish. That being said, I was looking for an inexpensive wedding set for several reasons:

1) I am rough with my hands and didn't want to risk wrecking my 'real' set;

2) My original set is 14k gold and I've switched over to silver jewelry in recent years;

3) It sure would be nice to have a BIG solitaire and stones without having to pay real diamond prices.

I saw the picture of this set on the website and ordered it when there was a 10% discount available. I received it today and can't keep my eyes off it! It's beautiful. The only difference from the photo is that the stones on the band don't appear as 'defined' in person - not as easy to see each stone separately as in the photo. I am 110% happy with the purchase though and absolutely LOVE the rings.

Also, on a side note, I bought these little rubber things called "Ring Snuggies" (from another store, not Target). They are for rings that are too big - they almost look like small sections of aquarium tubing with a slit in it to slide over the band of the ring. There is one in the package that was wide enough to fit over both of these rings. Now they fit snugly together and don't spin around on my finger.


Update on ring set - I had them soldered together!, April 8, 2006 Well, I've had this ring set for a couple of weeks and I still love it. However, I was getting tired of the Ring Snuggies - they are bulky and inconvenient to take on and off when I needed to remove the rings.

I had originally ordered a size 6, and I probably wear around a 5.5,so the rings would spin, and worse yet, would spin independently since there were two of them. I thought about getting them soldered together at a jewelers, but hesitated because the best price I could find was $20. Since I had only spent $30 on the set it didn't seem worth it.

Anyway, I ended up taking the plunge and got the rings soldered together. I am SO glad I did it. WARNING: when you get two rings soldered together, it does make them fit a little snugger than before, so please consider this if you have rings that fit perfectly or even a little tight before soldering.

For me, though, it worked out great, because now I don't even need to use a Ring Snuggie (or duct tape LOL). The ring is still a little large at the base of my finger, but it still fits over my knuckle and I don't mind a little bit of spin.
