This is the perfect thing for blocks, legos, little plastic whatzits, etc; not a great size for larger stuffed animals. However it seems quite sturdy and was an absolute breeze to put together (and I've assembled everything- cribs, tables, bookcases, beds, ottomans, etc.). I had no trouble putting it together by myself in the middle of chaos created by a toddler. And I found absolutely no need for power tools. We have a toybox, but I must say it's nice for my daughter who is two to be able to see all the different toys instead of having them get buried and forgotten. Also the price was definitely right! Great item!

I bought the all wood version a few months back and loved it so much I went to buy another one. I was disaponted when I found that this one had replaced the one with the wooden bars. The bins slide of their spot when you try to remove the one above or below making it very hard for my three year old to take out his stuff, it's wobly, and smaller. If I could I would return it in a heart beat. My advice? Don't buy this one! Buy the one with the wooden bars it's great.

I just finished putting this together to store all my 3 year old son's toys and boy was this worth the purchase. It is very sturdy, I love the colors and I know it will stand up to his rough play and will hold a lot of different sized toys. No parts were missing from the box and it took less than 10 minutes to put together. I would recommend this to anyone looking for toy storage!

We bought this for my 19 month old daughter. We set it up and filled it with her toys. Out of the corner of my eye I looked over and it was tipping over, right on top of her. I screamed and she moved at the last second. VERY scary. I am going to contact the company...in the mean time...ANCHOR yours to the wall.

The bins are thicker than I thought they'd be. My 2 1/2 year old son turns them over and stands on them. (He's not allowed! but they are strong) The shelf was so easy to assemble, just 8 screws on either side - no power tools, just a hand held screw driver. Easy! And it is very sturdy. It could tip forward if toddler pulls it but that happens with ANY shelf or even a dresser. Our is not anchored to the wall and it hasn't happened at all. Great storage organizer! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! I am getting a 4th one this week!

I bought one like this approx two years ago and it was great!!! Very well made. So about 5 months ago I decided to buy another one and this one is CHEAP, the company changed from wood bars to a metal and instead of having three bars going across for each set of bins there is only two so now the bins fall thru so easily, it just makes a big mess. Also, the bins are not as good of quality as they use to be. I was very disappointed in this new organizer.

These were on sale for $at my local Target so we picked one up. Our son is almost 9 months old and has already accumulated a TON of small toys. I agree with previous comments, you can't store very big items in the bins because they are a bit small but it's nice for all the little things that seem to end up under my feet! I also like that there are four large bins. I put an assortment of his toys that he enjoys the most in each large bin and rotate them every couple of days. This way he is getting "new" toys and it keeps his attention better. The finish on the wood sides could have been a little better. It's basically just a laminate overlay but on mine it is flaking off in places and came that way out of the box. Assembly was a breeze, had it together in less than 20 minutes. Overall, this is a very nice storage unit and a great price. I think we will probably anchor it to the wall though when he starts walking just as a precaution. It is fairly heavy though and seems very sturdy.

The only downside to this is that bigger toys (like stuffed animals) can't really fit in the lower shelves without bumping the upper shelves out of place. So we just use the upper shelves for the bigger stuff.

Love this otherwise. Very gender neutral colours, helps organize toys - very accessible to our 8 month old who is sitting on her own and reaches the first two shelves. Will be good for teaching her to put toys away too. It's nice that you can take individual bins out when you want to bring some toys to another room. It seems to be made well, and the bleached wood colour blends well into our neutral walls and carpet. My friends are already wanting to buy it too. I would definitely buy it again.

I found this organizer on the website and got it in store. I love it! I bought it for my 4yr old room and it works like magic! He is able to sort his puzzles and smaller toys. The bins can get stuck in between the rails, but it shouldnt be a problem if you get used to it. Overall I like... I just wish it had yellow some where in it! Nice buy, every Mama's dream: A clean up scheme!
