We had it for 6 weeks now. This little unit is perfect for our 400sq.ft. bedroom with high ceiling. On a fairly dry, sunny, 90F day, it was able to achieve and maintain low 70s temperatures in about an hour. It has the remote control, heater and so far we have not yet need to drain water. I would definitely recommend this product.

I recently purchased a 10,000 BTU Sunpentown Portable Air Conditioner with heater. When I read other reviews, I thought it would handle 400-425 sq ft. The owners manual states it can handle around 300 sq ft. So be careful when you order to get the right BTU'S for the room size. The weather has changed for the season not giving me the opertunity to try the air conditioning for my room size. The heater did increase the temperature by 5 degrees, but I thought it took longer than expected. I hope it will do the job cooling. Antonio
