Excellent Air Conditioner and Heater

This unit is very powerful. The size of our room is approx. 500 sq.ft. and it kept the room nice and cool during summer. The heating function works very well too. This air conditioner operates the same way as window air conditioner. The difference is portable room air conditioners come with an exhaust hose that directs the hot air from the back of the portable air conditioner unit through a window or a cut out in a wall where as window air conditioner units do not have this feature. We love this unit because we can roll this unit to a different room or store this unit away when not in use.

The portable a/c worked ok at first when I used it during a 70 somethign degree day. Once the temperature rose above 90 degrees it could not keep pace. I've used window units and portable units before and I doubt this has 13000 btu's of cooling. maybe it consumes that much electricity but it does not show up in the performance. This is also a very bulky and unappealing looking item.

Well constructed and with very powerful cooling capacity. At one point, my room temperature was down to 70 degree. I had to set the temperature higher. Great features! It also came with a remote.
