This bag is great. Specifically, the laptop compartment is really handy. Makes going through security a snap. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the fabric ripped after a couple of trips. Not sure if it was weak fabric or a careless luggage handler.

This bag is awesome! It holds my laptop, files and two weeks worth of clothing and gear! I highly recommend it, but I also advise that you may have to gate-check it on smaller aircraft. If you are flying on a small plane (like a regional jet, bring another small bag so you can take your laptop out if needed. I love this bag!

...or for a couple to share on a weekend trip. It is too big to be carried on flights, which is okay with me because I'm a wuss and can't get it up into the overhead bin anyway.

I've taken it on 3 trips so far and it's already showing some wear and tear, mostly scratches, scuffs, and snags to the outside.

I absolutely love this bag. I hate carrying my laptop on my shoulder, so this bag fits the bill. The bag is compact enought to fit in the overhead bin on the plane, plus has enough room for at least 4 days worth of clothes. When I am not on a business trip, I load the laptop compartment with my hair straightener and other electronic plugs and gadgets. I am thinking about getting another for my husband.

I usually travel stand-by and have to pack as efficiently as possible for a trip that can be 2 days or 14 in one small bag. I love everything about the bag except.. the interior space is akward due to the design of the retractable handle. The "mechanics" of the handle take up a considerable amount of space on the interior. Other bags I have owned had the handle running on the back of the bag rather than taking so much space on the interior of the bag. But I still love the "look" of the collection and use it frequently for shorter trips.

I originally wanted to get the 17" version of the same model, but decided that one was just a little too small after seeing it at the store. I bought this bag (in black) instead for a four day trip and was pleased with everything I could fit inside:

-three pairs of pants
-five shirts
-one extra t-shirt and cotton pants for sleeping
-more socks and underwear than needed for four days
-a rather large toiletries bag
-one pair of running shoes

On the return trip I even managed to cram in a huge coffee mug and a couple of small gifts, but I don't think the bag would have held more than that. I wanted a small bag that I would be able to carry on instead of checking. I did have to gate-check the bag on a small plane, but was able to carry on a larger aircraft with no problem. I have read some complaints of this bag looking scuffed/ratty/torn after only a few uses; mine still looks brand new but I have only used it on one trip so far. The telescoping handle for wheeling the bag around seems a little loose if I wiggle it back and forth just a bit while it's all the way pulled out, but seems well-made other than that.

I got this bag as a wedding gift and I love it. It's light weight and strong. It also has a place for your lap top!The perfect carry on bag.
