Pretty good July 17, 2006 Reviewer:  Sydney See all my reviews >

Pretty good for a small room situation. Its decently strong at the different settings also. Note that it is a practical product and not a "pretty product."

Sooo much better than the wooden counterparts! July 31, 2006 Reviewer:  Getting married on 9-2-06! "Christy H." (Indianapolis, IN USA)  See all my reviews >

My fiance and I had some wooden tv trays that sat on a rack.... They chipped easily, were difficult to clean, and the legs would often get "stuck" when you tried to pull it closer to you (my fiance spilled an ENTIRE bowl of chili on our white carpet this way!). These tv trays are awesome... they slide towards you, so you don't have to worry a/b spillage (at least not from pulling it towards you~ LOL)... they wipe clean easily, and fit nicely under our couch. I think they are great!

Makes a great laptop tray! July 21, 2007 Reviewer:  Jenn "Jenn" (Pennsylvania)  See all my reviews >

I use the Table Mate II for my laptop. It puts it at the perfect height and angle no matter where I'm at - the sofa, recliner or even in bed.
It is definitely sturdy (my laptop + battery weigh about 14 lbs.), easy to adjust, and slides easily over carpet and floor alike.
I'm actually going to Target today to buy another one for my mother!

NOT GOOD AT ALL!! June 30, 2007 Reviewer:  Target Lover See all my reviews >

IGNORE THE STAR RATING-it wouldn't let me change it!
its really unstable. i don't use it anymore. if you push on it too hard then it bends and gets all messed up. if you get pencil led on it...it NEVER comes off! :(

very upset!

Scratched my laminate flooring, unstable March 26, 2008 Reviewer:  Michelle Solomon Real Name (Atlanta, GA)  See all my reviews >

The only good thing I can say about this product is the easy assembly and how it will slide under a chair nicely. Other than that, I now have a lot of scratches on my laminate flooring! Because of it's design, if you are trying to use a notebook computer or write using this product, the table moves around a lot and feels flimsy. If you have little children, like me, placing liquids on this product is definitely a bad idea! You will get spills!

Great idea, quality issues, way overpriced. March 17, 2009 Reviewer:  Bridget Young "YoungMomof2" Real Name (Greer, SC)  See all my reviews >

These are a great help for anyone who has limited mobility and eats while they are seated on a sofa or chair, but we have a couple of problems. The unit itself is very lightweight construction, which often leads it to being knocked backward if the person raises a knee unexpectedly or misjudges while moving it around. If you have a recliner or sectional, you may have a bar in the front of your chair under the foot rest area for support. If you do, then you will have problems using this as you can't pull the table in past that bar.

So great that I have 2 in my house (use for food & computer) July 19, 2009 Reviewer:  Reesesmom "Tracy" (Kentucky)  See all my reviews >

I absolutely LOVE this product. I first bought one about 5 years or so ago. It works and functions as it should. I am able to change the height very easily and it is very sturdy. I have used my table for everything possible. I mostly have it set up so I can play with my netbook and then I use it for my meals in front of my TV. I love it so much I bought another one. My sister comes to my house and has her very own to use! She was very jealous that I had a table and not her. LOL!!! I Just can't say enough about this product! GREAT, GREAT, GREAT and sturdy, sturdy, sturdy! You will LOVE it too!!

Works bedside for comp monitor September 5, 2009 Reviewer:  Petite senior (Monterey CA)  See all my reviews >

I've used mine about 3 years for my pc flat panel monitor as I, can't sit long at a desk. It glides very easily on carpet. My pc sits on floor under it. For bedside it of course slides over from one side a foot or so so I do have to look slightly right not ahead. It tilts a bit from the years of weight, can put a thin pillow under it for real flat level or adjust monitor base to level it. It was very hard to put together for elderly person, adjust height, or fold up for me, takes a stronger hand than mine to push those buttons in holes. Once the right height I leave it be. Soooo glad I bought it. Have a laptop now, but with cordless mouse and this table for monitor it's been one of my better ideas. For sleep, or making bed just slide it back away. Great design, may be a bit wobbly if you are hard on it but fit my needs before I could afford laptop. Buying one for sister now who needs to keep feet elevated when on computer, like me, can't sit long either in straight chair without back and neck pain.

(Looks like lawn furniture tho, go for function!)
