unreliable

Reviewer:  DannyRay  (San Rafael)  See all my reviews

this scale worked ok for a few months. I changed the battery then the battery kept going dead every month. Finally I said enough is enough and quit using it. I think I will buy one that doesn't use a battery. If you buy it take the battery out after each use.

i hate this scale...

Reviewer:  lo  (boston)  See all my reviews

... This scale worked for a few months and then started giving very random readings that varied between .5- 15 pounds. Needless to say, a girls worst nightmare- I thought it was me and was wrong. This scale is junk, so don't freak out when you've suddenly put on 10 pounds in a matter of an hour. It stinks you can't even find a decent scale for less then 50 bucks these days...

Awful!

Reviewer:  E-Man's Mama "Jess B"  (Ohio)  See all my reviews

I have seen this scale at other retailers for a price and that is still too high of a price for this junk. The readings were always different, depending on where I stood on the scale. The readout started going crazy and would continue to climb until the scale shut off. In the end, it cracked. I cannot believe I wasted 20 of my hard earned dollars on worthless equipment, and then to go to the doctor to find the scale was at least 5 pounds off! This has made me not want to purchase any more products from Taylor.

This scale stopped working after a couple of months... I also have doubts about its accuracy...

I don't know why they carry this brand, every time I bought one of these scales, it breaks ! (I should have learned my lesson) will never buy one of these again.

A huge waste of money

Reviewer:  Hilary G.  (Massachusetts)  See all my reviews

Although I visited Target.com before buying this scale, this particular model did not come up in my search. I wish it had. Not only is it inaccurate (my weight readouts varied by 2-5 lbs. within minutes), the plastic platform broke after just over a month of use (and I am nowhere near the weight limit for this scale). At this price, you're better off with a traditional analog scale.

worked OK for a few months or so

Reviewer:  M. Volo  (Massachusetts, USA)  See all my reviews

Seemed to work OK for a few months, then started giving inconsistent results. Finally, after about 6 months, wouldn't work at all.

Horrible!

Reviewer:  Melissa  See all my reviews

An incredible waste of money. It will return a difference of 20 pounds after weighing myself three times in a row. You can imagine my huge disappointment after learning I really didn't loose 20 pounds in one day. <<tear>> Save your money!

Never worked

Reviewer:  V. Reynolds  See all my reviews

Real Name

We bought one of these after our wedding, it never worked. Right out of the box it wouldn't work. The battery was fine, and it would act liek it was going to work, then go blank.

You get what you pay for-- sometimes

Reviewer:  Midwest Teacher "K. E."  (Twin Cities, MN)  See all my reviews

I purchased this scale and it worked for about a month before it stopped reading accurately. For someone who is trying to watch his/her weight, this scale is not a helpful tool. I could step on it three times in a row and get three drastically different readings. At one point it showed that I weigh 100 pounds more than I actually do. I will never buy from Taylor again.
