Our boys play on this a lot! The springs are really tight (which made it a little tough to put together) but it has great bounce.
The horse comes to life with plenty of sounds, a fun little song, and his mouth moves. It's soft and huggable.
We were missing the instructions and called their customer service and he said the updated ones were available on line and we printed them and had no issues!
The eye hooks that go into the wood need to be straight and it sounds like the other reviewer may have had them crooked, or not deep enough. He should probably call their customer service to get help. At this price a toy should work - and our does!
Our boys have ridden him hard and have had no issues!

THIS IS SUCH A CUTE RIDING HORSE. I WOULD GET HIM AGAIN. BUT BOY THE DIRECTIONS ARE NOT VERY GOOD. PERFECT FOR MY TWO YEAR OLD GRANDSON.

Our 22 month old son loves it. It's sturdy. The noises are fun and can be shut off when necessary. I have a feeling we are never going to be able to get him off the horse and seeing his face light up when he walked into the living room was priceless.
However the direction are terrible and putting it together was terrible. The plastic spring covers need to be put on before you attach the horse to the frame. The directions do not mention anything about the covers. (My husband and I are not the handiest people in the world but we are also not the worst.) The springs are then attached after the horse. The springs need an additional safety latch. It is easier to attach the second latch AFTER you have attched the spring to the horse. the directions say the opposite but the springs keeps falling out when you try and attach the spring. It took us an hour and a half to put it together because of the bad directions. Hope this helps the next person!
I would still recommend it to a friend and I would buy it again. I'm marking it down for the directions.
