Horrible sippy cup! September 5, 2007 Reviewer:  Mom of 3 (Concord NH)  See all my reviews >

Don't bother wasting your money on this sippy cup. It has 4 different pieces you have to try to put together for the mouth piece and then it leaks. There are better quality stainless steel sippy cups out there, don't waste your time with this one.

Don't buy this product September 10, 2007 Reviewer:  Kendra M. Adkisson "natural mom" Real Name (Lexington, KY)  See all my reviews >

I was trying to get rid of plastics for my baby when I bought two of these cups. They are awful to clean. Mold grows in all of the tiny crevasses. On top of that, it leaks! No good. I threw them both away! I'd give it zero stars, but that wasn't an option. I'd like a refund. [...]

i LOVE this sippy cup, and so does my son May 23, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom 2 baby L (Chicago, IL United States)  See all my reviews >

I actually *like* the fact that the valve comes apart into several pieces... it's much easier to properly clean. Other "no-spill" valves seem to get gook in them that I can't get out without soaking and tapping.

And for the mom that complained of mold growing in the crevasses? How often are you washing your child's cup???? I wash once daily and give a good rinse when changing drink type (juice, milk, water. And in 2 months of use have not had a problem with any "growths"

the best sippy August 17, 2009 Reviewer:  Ashley Haugh (fort polk, LA)  See all my reviews >

we absolutly loved this cup. it kept water cold, with ice still in it, for HOURS, even in the super hot louisiana summers. id recommend it to anyone. my son has stopped using sippy cups, so we've moved on to the foogo straw cup and we love it just as much as the sippy

We threw all the others away July 11, 2009 Reviewer:  tessamami See all my reviews >

NEVER leaks. We've been washing in the dishwasher. In the beginning, DS had a bad habit of dropping on my foot. Now, at 15 months, he doesn't do it anymore.

It keeps drinks cold. I fill it 2-3 times a day. It's just perfect :)

Sorry, Try Again July 9, 2009 Reviewer:  Miami Mom (Miami, FL, USA)  See all my reviews >

I was so excited when I saw this cup because it was just what I was looking for: a leak-proof cup that would keep the beverage cold. However, after one use this cup started leaking and only continued to leak more and more. It now rests in its new home-the garbage.

Not worth the Money February 24, 2009 Reviewer:  Luv Bugs' MaMa "Luv Buggs Mom" (San Jose, CA)  See all my reviews >

This cup worked perfect for my son the first time he used it. He loved the mouth piece because it is softer than some others on the market. However... once I washed it after his first use all the pieces started leaking, it never went back together in a sealed manner. Evertime he uses it it leaks from the yellow mouth piece. The concept is great, however the engineering execution is terrible. Hopefully they fix this in the future.

Horrible sippy cups! February 1, 2009 Reviewer:  French mum "Stephanie G" (Raleigh, NC)  See all my reviews >

First it leaks and then you have to wash about 4 or 5 different parts (small ones...) every time you use it! It's unpractical and expensive for what it is!

Sturdy and Easy October 18, 2008 Reviewer:  Texas Mom (Central Texas)  See all my reviews >

I love this cup and my son does too. It is sturdy (been dropped lots) and I love being able to take every little piece apart to make sure that it's clean. My son struggled with hard tipped sippy cups after weaning and this was the first we could find that he easily adapted to. He loves it for milk, water, and juice alike.

Water tastes like plastic May 14, 2008 Reviewer:  SavvyShopper (Minneapolis, MN)  See all my reviews >

For weeks, I have been looking for a non-plastic sippy for my 18 month old. I've tried a handful of other brands, but none meet all of my needs (the Foogoo included, unfortunately).

The pros of this cup:
* Stainless steel body.
* Comes with handles.
* Is insulated (great for milk).
* It really doesn't leak or drip.

The cons of this cup:
* It is a little heavy for my toddler, although not unmanageable.
* The sippy valve has 4 separate parts that must be washed.
* The sippy spout is still plastic (although I've read it's BPA-free).
* When I drink from this cup, the water tastes like plastic. I've read the Foogoo spout does not contain BPA, but I still worry when it alters the taste of the water so significantly...especially when the water is only passing through the spout, not sitting directly in contact with the plastic.

So, I feel better using this cup than the pastic sippies, but will continue my search for other alternatives.
