I ordered this lamp online and was dissapointed when I got it. The shade was covered in a sticky oily mess and it took 1/2 hour to get it off with acetone. Then once I got it put together the top was crooked and wouldn't budge to make it strait. I put the 40 watt bulb in it, a brand new one, and plugged it in and it sparked all over the place and the bulb burst and then didn't work after that. It's a cute lamp though, I just wish it wasn't such a let down. I returned it.

This lamp is exactly as it should be. The title, however, should read accent lamp, instead of table lamp. The website does list it in the proper category. It's on the smallish side, perfect for a dresser or a small table.

The lamp does come with an oily residue on it. This is intentional and not a factory mistake. A real tiffany lamp will also have this residue, as it keeps the pieces from drying out and cracking during shipping. The back of semis, freight trains, and airplanes all go through extreme highs and lows. If this protective layer wasn't on the shades, the majority of them would end up broken.

One reviewer mentioned cleaning it with acetone - DON'T! Just wipe it down with some hot water to remove the excess... clean it the same way and your lamp will stay brilliant for years! I've had mine 3 years now, with NO problems.

It also coordinates beautifully with the folding mission bookcases.

Yes, I realize it is a [...] stained glass not a Tiffany..but this item is poorly made...period. There was not one side out of four that had decent "leading". You could not turn the shade around and make do...all sides were awful. Finial is some funky, strange, resin material. Lamp base finish was splotchy...looked like a bad faux finish paint technique. If one reads the specific dimensions of the lamp, it is obvious it is not a "table lamp". However, Target should describe it as a "buffet lamp". Don't waste your time on this one.

Yes, this is a small lamp. It will not light an entire room, but thats obvious just by reading the product description. Size and brightness should not be a surprise to anyone who bothered to check. As far as availablity of bulbs, I found them at my local drug store, the first place I looked. They seem easy to come by to me and only cost [....] ea. It's a pretty little accent piece and is totally worth the [...] .

I bought this item at the store so I wasn't surprized by the size. It fits perfectly on a side table where you just want a little mood/accent lighting. It would be hard to read by. I have other lights in the set and am quite pleased with this to add a little ambiance to a dark corner.

This lamp is great for a nightstand or desk. It is perfect for that cottage, craftsman decor. I used it in a boy's room that was decorated outdoor-woodsy theme and it is perfect.

I know why this is so cheap- it doesn't come with a bulb and it turns out that the bulb is not very easy to come by.

I have read a lot of reviews on this lamp before and since purchasing two of them in March. I have had no problems with them and really like them. I dont' think that they are cheesy at all. I think that people need to read descriptions more carefully to understand what they are getting. I have the other table lamps and floor lamp to match. All 5 of the lamps of this style that I have are made of glass. They go well with my craftsman style home. The price is great and they aren't too small or too big.

I bought this lamp to go with all of the other lamps in the collection. From reading the other reviews I knew that it took a special kind of bulb (40 Watt type B). My mom called and told me it had arrived so I went and pick up the bulbs on my way home. I got home and the bulbs I had bought did not fit. The socket was too small for the bulb. I found an old candelabra bulb that has a lower wattage and it works just find. Other than the bulb I love this lamp. I works perfectly for what I wanted it to do.
