Cute but did not wash well

I bought this bedding for my three year old's room. It's very cute and my son loves it; however, it did not hold up well in the washer. The colors faded and some of the stitching is coming loose - after ONE wash! I read a few reviews that said this was a problem but bought it anyway since overall it had good reviews. Wished I would have bought something else. While it's very cute, it just did not hold up well.

OK, I am not high maintenance but I agree with the ironing comments. This bedspread and sheet set gets wrinkled beyond belief. I hate ironing and avoid it at all costs. I will wear something to work in the bottom of my drawer even if it has a few wrinkles. I do not care. But this bedspread got hideously wrinkled after I washed it, I actually considered ironing it! I bought it anyway after reading the ironing comments only because I thought those people must be perfectionists or high maintenance. And the color does fade after only one wash. It does not stay bright and cute AT ALL. If you like the color when it arrives, NEVER wash it. And the sheets must be 10 thread count or something because they are super stiff and not at all comfortable. They ARE NOT worth the price tag. The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is because my son LOVES trains and airplanes and he doesn't seem to mind any of this. I, on the other hand, wish I would have bought a different planes and trains ensemble.

My mom sprung for this set for my son and stepson's room a year ago. We got the Toddler and Twin set and like the other reviewers said, it doesn't hold up well in the wash. We washed them once and it faded. The twin comforter got a hole in it after one wash as well. The fabric does soften up over time, but the twin comforter comes out of the dryer wrinkled. Rather annoying.
The print is the cutest I've seen anywhere. Now that my toddler needs a twin set I'm debating whether to spend the money on this one to match my stepson's... Right now it's a no.

I ordered this for my son's big boy room. I am happy with the theme but the quality of the products is lacking. The pillow case seams are not in line so the pillow case has to be crooked on the pillow in order for it to look straight. The fitted sheet does not stay on the mattress. The comforter did not stand up to even one washing. It is very faded. I'm very disappointed in theses products. Much so that we don't use them anymore. I contacted the manufacturer months ago about this and received no word back.
Like I said, cute theme but poor quality.

We bought the bedding for my son's BIG BOY room for his 2nd birthday. The first time he saw his room he was so excited he was shaking. It is very cute, the only thing I didn't like is how well it held up in the wash. The comforter didn't wash well at all.

Great vivid colors, loved the design. This looks real durable to the touch however, when washed, it does not hold up well. My son got ketchup on the set and nothing would wash it out of the fabric. Overall, his room looks adorable, he loves it and everyone who comes over raves about the set.

great quality, looks like something you would buy at a boutique but half the price, very colorful, and if you do decide to get this, at target.com they have a 6 bin storage case in toddler furniture that the canvas bins match the colors in this excellent! I just re-did my almost 3 year old's room and it came out teriffic, thanks Target!!!!

I ordered this bedding set in October 2008 for my 3-year-old son. I thought it looked adorable online. When it arrived, however, I found that the colors seemed different from in the pictures. The blue is purplish-gray, and I had a very hard time finding a paint color to match. I've only washed the comforter a half dozen times and it is hopelessly faded. The sheets are made from a stiff material that comes out of the dryer so wrinkled I have to iron them. For the money, the quality is pretty poor.

For the price, the quality is very good. I washed prior to using for the first time and it held up very well. My son became very excited and happy when he saw all the trains, tractors, and airplanes.

Great set for a boy! we have had it for one year and it still looks great! My son is 4 1/2 and still loves it. It washes easily which is a plus. I ordered extra sheet fabric [...] and made my own valance (I didn't care for the checked one) with red tabs which turned out great too. Also we painted the walls with sherwin williams color #6962 (Dazzle) which is a perfect match to the darker shade of blue in the comforter.
