My son L-O-V-E-S Bumblebee and since I could barely figure out the stage 2 Optimus Prime I figured a stage 1 toy would be much more appropriate for my 3 1/2 year-old boy. Overall the toy has a fantastic fun factor, but breaks VERY easily in the hands of toddlers. Easily fixed though, but frustrating when you are "fixing" the toy just about every 2 minutes until toddler moves on to another toy.
