My 3 1/2 year-old son loves Optimus Prime and Bumblebee and since I had a hard time transforming his stage 2 Optimus Prime I figured a stage 1 toy would be more appropriate. It's a great toy if you allow the toy to do all the transforming, but toddler boys want to "help" therefore preventing the toy from performing correctly and needing mommy or daddy to "fix" the toy. This "fixing" of the toy can go on until our son decides to play with a different toy. It would be nice of the toy was more durable.
