I ordered this headboard in khaki and the color was pretty close to how it appeared on my monitor - a medium brown. I found the headboard easy to install and would definitely buy it again. That having said, buyers should be aware that the "brass tacks" are made of plastic, are attached to one another with a small amount of plastic and are only attached to the headboard at every fifth tack. The color of the tacks is also a bit uneven. These things are only obvious if you look closely though. All in all, I think this is a a good piece for the price.

If this headboard would have had REAL nail in the headboard, I might have considered keeping it. There are strips of fake nail heads held on with matching nails every 5th or 6th one, which are themselves way too short and do not stay in the headboard. I was afraid they would fall out while I was sleeping... They give the headboard an obvious cheap look.

Good idea, poor execution.

The rest of the headboard was fine.

This headboard looks as nice as headboards that are much more expensive. The brown is very rich looking. The only caveat is that the full headboard is 62 inches wide - the same as the queen. They are one in the same with multiple sets of holes in the back used to attach to either size bed frame. So when it is attached to a full size bed frame, it is wider than the bed. I am still satisfied with it. Also, the legs are now made out of metal.

Nice headboard, good price and exactly the look I was going for. Quick ship and easy to assemble. Looks great in my guest bedroom. Many guests have commented on it and are surprised when I tell them I got it at Target.

I got the oatmeal color, which is a nice neutral tan and not cream colored as it looks online. The nailhead trim is not gold either, more of a burnished look.

I'd been wanting an upholstered headboard for a while and *almost* bought similar ones from [a couple upscale retailers], but couldn't justify the price when I saw this one. Glad I went for it! The fabric is nice and seems like it will be durable. I agree that the nailhead trim coloring is a little uneven like the other reviewer points out, but it looks fine up close ... and I'm pretty picky. Overall very happy with this purchase!

I bought the brown headboard for my sons room and it looks great although I had an issue with the size. I had ordered a double but got a queen. It took a long time to receive it and I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it.( I am in Canada) It doesn't fit with my double frame so I am just using the headboard without the legs.

We love this headboard. It is exactly how it was described and it looks even better in person! It was very easy to attach to our bed frame and makes our room complete! We would definitely recommend this item. We have had many comments on how great it looks from family and friends!
