Great coin sorter

We've had this sorter for a couple of years now and it continues to work well. I don't think it has ever jammed. My son loves to feed it coins and my husband likes having a place to put all the change that he accumulates.

Coin Machine

Reviewer:  H. Mancuso  (NY)  See all my reviews

I have had this machine for many years now and have not had one problem. It has never jammed on me as others have said. The only "issue" that might happen is the coin will land on its side in the holder, but as soon as another coin goes in, it corrects itself. Perhaps it might jam if too many coins are put in at once, but I've put in a good 20 coins with no issue. I would like it to be a bit faster, but for [Price], it's great. I'm very satisfied with the quality of this machine.

Not really a toy....but my kids love it!

I bought this to roll my change. I found it to be perfectly fine for sorting coins. The slots do jam but I imagine that's because most people may be putting too many coins in the compartment. Mine has a notice sticker on the inside that states not to overfill. Frankly, mine has jammed....but only when I REALLY put too many coins in. And then it was easy to fix.

I don't know why this is considered a toy. My kids love to push the button though to sort the change. I have three kids, 4, 6, and 11, and they all love to do this for some reason. I guess they are learning, in a way, very basic information reagarding coins and our monetary system.

I have priced other sorting machines and they were WAY more expensive. THIS DOES THE JOB!

Adequate for the loose change user

Reviewer:  Whiskey Kilo "Bill K"  (Gurley, AL USA)  See all my reviews

I have used this sorter for over three years now and would agree that it is not perfect. My only complaint is that the battery holder does not hold the batteries down. Taping the batteries together solved that. While a little cumbersome in putting the coins into folded sleeves there is not much issue with the formed sleeves. Overall, it is adequate for allowing me to collect my pocket change as I change from my work clothes.

Takes longer to roll coins w/ this sorter than by hand!

Reviewer:  cuppy6  See all my reviews

As the previous reviewer mentioned, the sorter jams very easily. In my experience, it ends up taking longer to roll the coins than if you just sorted, counted, and filled preformed tubes by hand.

very light duty coin sorter

Reviewer:  Rod Hightower  (Sierra Vista, AZ)  See all my reviews

This sorter is very light duty. It jams frequently and unless the coin tubes are perfectly round, the coins do not enter them squarely. I can not recommend this coin sorter. I am looking for a better quality sorter....
