This is a great table at a great price but the representation of this item as "Light Oak" is a joke. This table is chocolate brown. See the other Victoria Hagen tables for an accurate representation of the color of this table. DO NOT ORDER if you are looking for a light wood table. If you are cool with dark brown it's a great item.

The piece is sturdy and elegant but it's mis-named. There is NO WAY it is light oak. The picture is VERY deceiving. It's more like a darker walnut. I really like the table so I'm going to have to take the time and spend more money to refinish it.

This table is perfect in size/proportion! It is darker than described/pictured. I'd consider it more of a walnut or acorn finish rather than "light oak."

Misleading Color

I thought I had found the perfect end tables to go with my existing furniture but when I opened the box I honestly thought they had shipped the wrong tables. It was MUCH MUCH MUCH darker than the picture shows. There is nothing "light" about these end table. It feels kind of cheap for the price as well. I am just lucky they allow returns in store.

I finally found the perfect table! Yes, I've been looking sor a set of tables for my living room for about 10 years. Every time I found some tables, there was something that I did not like about it...Untill I found these tables at Target. I bought 4 to make a set. I used 2 as side tables, and the other 2 I put them next to each other and I create a center table, that I can always split apart and make 2 more side table in case I need to. And to make the set more classy, I placed a thick glass top with beveled edge on each table( 4 glasstops, each 24" by 24" that I bought at Hobby loby).In the end I end up with an elegant classy neat and expensive look of a set of coffe tables. The tables now look big and have a rich look. It was worth waiting 10 years to get this set, that cost me less than I would have bought 1 table at a furniture store. Thank you Target! As always I found unique and unusual things at Target that when everibody sees them they are WOW.. I forgot to mention that I am extremelly picky when choosing things for my house, besides my attention to detaild. Look forward to find more things at Target, my favorite store.
