This is very sturdy, appears to be wrought iron & very stylish. Does requires some assembly. Bought a second because I liked it so much, second one delivered had fair amount of rust on it. To me personally was worth the effort to repaint w/rustoleum; but if using for something like towels etc. you definitely will need to paint it or use a liner.
