I've been using these kinds of dryer/stylers for at least 10+ years. I just ordered two more so if something happens to my everyday one -- and I do mean Every Day -- I have a backup. I could never seem to get comfortable with a round brush and blow dryer, so I don't know what I'd do without this. It saved my sister after shoulder surgery, and me when I broke my arm.

One suggestion: it's not great on very wet hair. Towel-dry your hair and then wait a few minutes until it's on the way to being dry. The results are better that way.

I love this dryer/styler! It is awesome in the way it styles the hair, without damage. It leaves it soft, smooth, silky and manageable, and I have never had a problem with getting my hair tangled in it. However, you need to be prepared to buy this once every couple of years, because the motor overheats pretty easily, and the mechanism that allows you to release the curls eventually just kind of breaks, which keeps the barrel from locking into position. So, then you have to use your finger to hold the barrel in place when you roll your hair up, otherwise it just spins and spins. That being said, I am still so happy with the performance that I am willing to put up with the short life span. You just have to buy a couple at a time, because you don't know how long it will last.

I liked the styler/dryer. My shoulder length hair didn't get tangled on the comb. I've never used one before. I liked the convience and the way it dried and curled my hair.

I had i vidal sasson hot air brush that with 1 inch that burdes up. i foudn this one at a great price compared to hair beauty stores. It works great but just wanted a smaller barrel. i looked everyien online but this Target is the only place that had the curling brush

I have used this product for awhile now. If I could find something like it, that doesn't burn up, I would buy it. It does a really good job at helping style while drying. I have gone through 13 of these now and am actually on this site to order 2 more. I just wish they lasted longer.

This is a great hot air brush. I have 2 smaller sizes of the Vidal Sassoon brand hot air brushes but needed a bigger one since my hair is longer now. It is lightweight, easy to operate and not too noisy. I blow dry my hair with a blow dryer first for a minute or two then use this to finish drying/styling it.

When I first received the item I was disappointed because I was looking for an electric roller brush that actually rotates while brushing the hair. Although this did not do that it allowed me to dry and style my hair with less effort than holding a blower and a roller brush.
