This phone was very good to me. It was only temporary until i found another phone. It doesnt have a camera but it has some good ringtones. Yesterday i was in a car accident and i must have shaken and hit it(obviously) and now its messed up. But unless you plan on getting in a car accident and dont really want a camera its a good phone.

Most of the time after I send a message the screen freezes and you have to turn it off then back on, it's really annoying! No camera. Other than that it's ok

This is an awsome phone!! You get lots of extras and with no contract! Plus its easy to add more minutes and keep track of them. Plus you get more for your money.
I love that I get 200 text minuets for [...]. I dont call much on this phone. and I am not texting but once a week. so for me who just needed a phone for emergencies and to say hay once in a while this phone is perfect!
No hidden charges and no more paying, and up on Contract phones!!

Great value for infrequent cell phone users

For thirty bucks, this phone is hard to beat. A nice, compact size, Bluetooth capable, good sound quality, and it doesn't have the "toy-ish" look and feel of some cell phones in this price range.
The first few days left me very unimpressed with the battery life, but it does improve greatly after a few charge/discharge cycles. My phone can now go for about three to four days without charging and minimal use.
These "Pay as you go" phones are best suited to those who infrequently need a cell phone and don't want to be locked into a contracted service plan. If you're a cell phone warrior, you're better off getting into a service plan with a larger provider.

This is just a fantastic little flip style phone.
I have it in silver. It looks great and feels good in your hand. Nice quality look and and feel.
Easy to use. Nice color screen inside and out.
Excellent sound quality. You can hear people very loud and clear. No hiss or background noise and people have reported that I sound perfect too. The audio is just outstanding.
Bluetooth works very well with my Apple iPhone bluetooth headset. Loud and clear without hiss or noise. Easy to pair too.
If you want a phone that looks good, feels good and you can hear very well on then buy this one.

My Flare failed after 1 month of service.
LG claims I broke the led display and wants more that 4 times it's original price to fix it.
I have had cell phones for 15 years with no problems.
Looks like this one may be a bit fragile.

Too many flaws

I bought this phone about two months ago, and it worked really well for about a week or so. After that all sorts of problems started to occur. Just about every text I sent would freeze up my phone to the point where I would have to take out the battery and put it back in. When I would call people they would complain because it was hard to understand what I was saying. The keypad is also very loud to text on, making in a nuisance to others around when you have it out. Occasionally it will take an hour to get a text, even if I have full coverage, I'm not sure why this occurs. The final thing is, and the reason I no longer have the phone is, the place where you plug in your phone charger wears out over time and you no longer can use it. I now have had the arc for 3 weeks, and I would say it is much worth the extra more price.

is only for the hands-free headset and NOT for pairing with computers and other cell phones. Other then that major flaw it's an alright phone.
