BEST PHONE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!! November 26, 2008 Reviewer:  Happy Dude See all my reviews >

This phone is cool! I got this phone last month. The black keys look cool and all of my friends want one too! This phone is light weight and is thin. I love the ringtones that it comes with and the 1 game it came with. Online you can download a variety of games and ringtones. Already I have downloaded 3 ringtones. My family is very happy because i have enough money to actually pay for the top up cards. The bottom line is that this phone is very good and you get more than what you pay for.

BUY THIS PHONE!!!!!!!!

Not bad little retro-styled phone! December 19, 2008 Reviewer:  Trinette "Trini" (Ohio)  See all my reviews >

I got this phone first at Target store, and it was locked.
Someone didn't scan it right.
I sent it back to the store, and got my money back.
[...]
Mostly for teens and young adults with no or bad credit.
I have two other cell phones from them, and had two more before that!
[...].
The phone is light and thin. It also has a nice rubber grip to it.
The external LCD is small but functional enough to see who's calling and when.
It also lets you know when you have a text and the time and date.
It's rare for a flip phone under $35 to include an external display.
Taking off the back to put in the battery felt as if I'd break the whole phone.
But the plastic is pretty strong. Also once that battery is in,you won't need to open it much more anyway.
The keys are flat and black.
All feel the same and tightly laced.
Good for those who text alot and like flat feeling keys.
Bad for the disabled and those who like to have large spaced keys.
For me the keys are easy to push, and therefore texting is easy.
Calling is basic, but the phone has clear calling compared to say the Cyclops and even the cheaper Aloha.
Both of those have fading reception and it's often tinny.
Sure it has just one game, but with Games Lite, you can play more over the browser as long as you have VXL.
It can be costly for both.
I avoid it.
Web browsing is good.
There is a wide-screen view in the phone, but it at times looks horrid.
Downloadable wallpapers and screen savers are fun,but also costly.
I get mine from Playphone for $10 a month.
Can't beat that.
All in all,the TNT! is great for basic text, internet, and of course calling.

BUH BUH BUH BUH, I'M LOVIN IT!! June 12, 2009 Reviewer:  Skaterchick17 "ViCsTeR<3" (Newton NH)  See all my reviews >

So, I'm in my teens and I got this phone a few weeks ago because my friends kept teasing me about my old crappy phone, but anyways. I've had it for about 3 weeks and I'm absolutely inlove with it. The battery, on a full charge, lasts about 3 days. The outside screen makes it alot easier to figure out what time it is, the date, and if you have service. The ringtones that it came with were awesome so I didn't have to buy any, and the clarity on the inside screen in amazing. But my favorite part is the texting because it has bigger buttons than normal phones, so it's easier texting for people with chubby fingers like me. I would definaly recommend this to anyone looking for a cute little phone for a teen or first time cell phone.<3<3<3

You get what you pay for. October 28, 2008 Reviewer:  hayhaypaula "Paula" (Victorville, CA USA)  See all my reviews >

This phone is very cheaply made. The back cover has to be pried off to install the battery, and feels very flimsy. It only comes with one game, similar to the retro game of Pong. There aren't any games available for download from Virgin Mobile. The exterior display is a definite plus! I just bought one from Target and am planning on returning it - didn't activate it yet. They said I can return it in 90 days even if I opened the package - with receipt of course! This phone is slimmer than the [...], weighs about .4 ounces less, and does have a nice feel to it. The charger was hard to insert and remove. It weighs less than the [...]. I originally bought a [..]and want to upgrade, but the TNT won't be my next phone. Too bad because I like the look, and the black keys are nice too. The inner screen is large and easy to read. Not very many ringtones to choose from - just like the the other brand. You'll probably have to plan to spend a few dollars to download one you like. I expected it to be a basic phone, but the Virgin Mobile site said one of its options was Games, and there aren't any available for this phone. If it let me load a couple games, I would have kept it, even though the case is pretty flimsy. The price is only a few dollars more than the the other brand. I suggest going to Target and seeing the quality of the phones in person before activating one. You can buy the phone, open it, and return it if you don't like it. Just don't activate it!

Piece of Junk October 11, 2008 Reviewer:  Mom "Mom" See all my reviews >

This phone is a piece of [...]. I bought it for my daughter and I wish we hadn't opened the package. It's flimsy and breaks easily, plus virgin mobile doesn't give you the full features this phone's capabilities. Virgin mobile doesn't give you enough memory in the phone so you can't even email with it. The graphics are subpar and the buttons are slippery which makes it hard to make phone calls and text. You get what you pay for!

Needs a vibrate funtion for incoming calls September 12, 2009 Reviewer:  J. Krause Real Name See all my reviews >

I've only had this phone for a couple days and I realized very quickly how much I depended on a vibrate function for incoming calls on other phones I've owned. Most of the time I don't hear the ring on this phone when it's in my pocket. The ringtones themselves are also very annoying when you're just looking for something basic and not some poor imitation of hip hop or pop music. An acending ring would also be nice as I find myself adjusting the ring volume a lot. Yes you can buy others but that costs more money. The other negative is this phone is very difficult to read the display outdoors even with changing the various themes and backgrounds. The phone itself is easy to navigate and has all the basic functions I use.. calculator, alarm, calendar. All calls placed have been clear. The battery on it's first charge seems to be holding up well with only 1 bar used up after about 90 mins of calling. Overall if I was buying a phone again I would definitely look for something that can vibrate.
