This little machine worked great for three weekend car rides and was even used in our hotel room for two weekends when the room didn't have a fridge. However, after those three uses, the connection between the power cord and the fridge is on the fritz. It will only work if you hold the adapter at the connection spot and push in on it really hard. So basically it doesn't work. That's after I dropped even more money elsewhere to buy the convertor cable to convert the 12V cord to a usable home outlet plug. Very frustrating. It did work nice for a little while but not built to last.
