Description

  • Published by: Rakehell Records
  • Welcome to the Chapel Perilous is original goth-- ominous doomsday music. A rather dark, urban, goth album; Mixing deliciously the elements of rock, post-Industrial, and metal. Vena Kava's vocals have an ethereal feel while dragging you to the pits of your very own soul. She allows you to join her and feel the pain together. Yet the music cunningly never allows you to give up on the world and sit in your bleak, desolate world, sulking. Oh no, not with Chapel Perilous urging you to get out of the Chapel... soon! This album is a real mix of genres with a lot character. All of the 11 songs have a nature of their own and no two songs sound the same. The album draws from the early goth era, yet WhipKraft stays true by driving the unique musical feel. This is a truly Goth album --not holding anything back. Welcome to the Chapel Perilous features some of the Weird Lord Slough Feg members backing Vena Kava instrumentaly.
