these are great shelves. easily put together by one person. holds a ton. doesn't wobble or come apart. i've put these in my daughters apartment closets and in our garage. great product

I love this shelf, it's sturdy and it's great that it's adjustable. It's also very easy to put together. The brackets in the colored bag are extras.

I was really excited to get this. Hard to put together, didn't know where to divide the shelves up to make the whole thing even. Also YES it is sturdy but does not sit well on carpet, it leans. Also if you are putting cans on it, the back, front and sides of the shelves have wider openings so they don't sit well in those areas.

I have three of these and two smaller versions that I use in my office, garage and playroom. You simply can't find anything better for the price! Super simple assembly -- can be just a one-person job. Extremely sturdy, we have computer equipment on them, TVs, books, etc... If your floor is uneven you can adjust the screw-in feet to level your shelving. They're great if you move a lot, easy breakdown and carry with!

I have purchased 4 of these on different occasions. Plus others in different sizes. Haven't found anything to compare for ease of assembly and sturdiness! You will need two people to assemble them, otherwise you will have a very hard time putting the shelves on. I use these in my basement for storage and in my arts/crafts room as well. Shelves can be set however far apart you like and no the clips don't fit "snug", there is a 1-2mm gap but that's how they are...once the shelf is on that's what holds it together! The feet adjust for uneven floors. I will be purchasing more of these as long as target has them!

My daughter and I put these together in just a few minutes; my son helped at the start so putting the first shelf on would be easier. No kinks at all in the instructions, really no tools, and the shelves even adjust pretty easily if they need to be adjusted up or down. (Unloaded of course.) The only issue we had at all was that the bottom set of clips can't really be put on the double lines; none of the rest seemed to matter. The unit I purchased is loaded up in the garage, and I fully intend to purchase more; I can hardly believe how great these are working!

When it comes to shelving, Whitmor is top of the line.
We have a total of 8 units, and we not only use them for basement and garage storage, but also as an entertainment unit [each shelf will hold a maximum of 300lbs.!].
I've had numerous back surgeries, but I can assemble a 5 tier unit in 15 minutes, no problems.
Whitmor shelves are well made, sturdy, and attractive, no matter what room they're in, or for what purpose they're being used.

I picked this shelving up yesterday from my local target, and I am very pleased with it. However, at the store, this exact same unit was [less]! If you have a Target near you, I highly recommend checking it out before going online. Plus, there's no S&H.

I bought two of these last year and have one in my laundry room other in my garage VERY sturdy have stacked paint cans, tools, and leftover tile on this shelving and it has held up wonderfully!! Definately recommend.
