My husband and I received this as a Christmas gift in 2005. We had no difficulty putting it together and have assembled various pieces from different companies over the years. This was by far one of the easiest to understand. The wood is gorgeous and it holds a LOT (both wine and glasses). I don't know what I'd do without this piece. It also has a large space in the top for our various corkscrews, etc. I couldn't be happier. To those folks that had difficulties in assembling, I got mine over 1.5 years ago and had no problems. Very sturdy piece that stands up to a lot of use and holds the weight of all our wine and glasses effortlessly.

I saw this item on-line at other websites and it was more expensive. Good quality wood and not that hard to put together, only took about half an hour. The one problem is that our large red wine glasses are too tall and the base is too wide to fit into the glass slots. I would recommend this item- you can't find the quality for the price anywhere else.

Despite what the unfavorable reviews say, this wine rack was easy to assemble. I am by no means a carpenter or a handyman but I was still able to assemble the wine rack easily and within a half hour. The wine rack is a beautiful piece of furniture and well worth the effort.

I think this is a wonderful wine rack at a wonderful price. It was delivered pretty quick and packed very well. It has beautiful wood and is very solid, so you don't have to worry about it falling apart when you load it up with lots of wine bottles! I absolutely love it! My only suggestion is to not try putting it together by yourself. It can be done i'm sure, but it'll be so much easier with an extra set of hands.

i can't believe how beautiful it is. far better quality then most of the things that i've found at target. the assembly wasn't super easy but lets be honest anything that you have to assemble will take some thought. the one good thing about its assembly is that it doesn't turn out to be wobbly or loose parts like most things that needs assembly.

This wine rack is a lovely piece of furniture. Made of solid wood. Easy for my husband to assemble. Nice size and fits 18 wine glasses and holds small and big bottles of wine. Opens on top to store cork screws, straws, coasters etc. Beautiful piece.

This is a great looking rack. My only complaint is when I saw espresso, I figured it was darker. The color is about what is looks like online, but a little darker. It definitely has red hues in it, which I was not expecting. Also it looks like you can put three bottles of wine in each compartment. That's the case if they are very skinny. You can fit about 2 normal sized bottles in each one, and one large one by itself.

Assembly was a breeze. I did it by myself in about an hr and a half (including checking to make sure every part was there and not damaged), and only needed help right at the end to put the other leg/side on. That was the toughest part. The picture directions are helpful, just make sure it looks as it does in the pictures, or you may be doing something wrong. I caught myself once when things did not want to line up. It was because something was up-side-down.

If you have sand paper and some patience this wine rack is wonderful. I love the way the finished product looks in my living room, I did not love putting it together. It took some time getting about 90% of the way done only to have the last piece (left side) not fit at all. Most of the holes do not line up I stripped the screw key by the end and the left side did not go on at all. After a trip to the hardware store to buy some sand paper and another ten minutes and my living room looks lovely. Honestly it was easier to spend the (price) at the store than to get everything back in the box and return it to Target. All in all, it was worth it.

THE COLOR IS WHAT I NEEDED TO MATCH MY TABLE SET PLUS I WANTED SOMETHING TO HOLD MY WINE,MY GLASSES AND TO HAVE A PLACE TO PUT OTHER STUFF FOR MY ENTERTAINING. IT IS THE RIGHT SIZE,HIGHT AND PRICE FOR ME.MY 14YR.OLD SON PUT IT TOGETHER FOR ME.I AM VERY HAPPY TO HAVE THIS WINE RACK WITH ME.THANK YOU TARGET FOR HAVING THIS ITEM.
