beautiful bike, easy to put together October 24, 2007 Reviewer:  M. Lucero Real Name (walla walla, WA, USA)  See all my reviews >

The bike is great, we put it together in about 20-30 minutes. The only thing i dont like is that there are no tools that come with the bike to help with assembly. You'll need some allen wrench's handy. Other than that, my wife is enjoying it, and its very easy for her to change gears

Good for small females! March 29, 2008 Reviewer:  Chriscissors (Phoenix, AZ)  See all my reviews >

I'm 4' 11" so it was difficult finding a bike that looked grown up enough for me not to be too embarrassed to ride. This bike fits the bill perfectly. I'm able to ride in an upright position thanks to the customizable handle bar and stem that adjusts to different angles and positions. Also, the seat is able to go down very low and can adjust to different angles which makes for a nice comfortable fit and enables me to have my feet touch the ground when I come to a stop. Also, though I wasn't crazy about the color, when I actually received the bike, I was pleased to discover it actually has a nice shimmer to it. Kind of glittery. Nice.

It also has embossed handlebars and a shifter with a one touch push button that switches gears faster than using the lever. On the weight I would say it's not the lightest bike, but it's not so bad either. Before I bought this bike, I had tried out a cruiser from [another retailer] that I had purchased for almost half the price of this bike which was amazingly lighter than this one and was 26" to boot. I ended up returning that because it just felt too cheap and the chain kept making odd noises and felt rubbery with brakes that weren't so great. This bike has a nice strong chain with wonderful hard brakes.

As far as the assembly, it went together rather easily considering it was the first bike I ever had to assemble. I had a bike tool which came in handy which had allen wrenches and a phillip screwdriver. You'll also need a regular wrench to put this together and an air pump for the tires. I barely looked at the instructions in the main manual. BTW, there's extra instructions that come with it but I'd say just look at the info in the main manual first. There was one odd thing about putting it together that confounded me though. One of the holes for the bike pedal was threaded the wrong way. Instead of righty tighty it was lefty tighty.

Overall though, I must say it's a very good bike for the price.

The best, most adjustible Beautiful bike ever November 26, 2008 Reviewer:  G. Kalra "me" Real Name (DE, USA)  See all my reviews >

At [the price] it's a steal, with the looks itself it could cost much more, even the details on the handle cushions are pleasing.. it's a perfect style of bike in between cruisers and very tough looking mountain bikes. Rides extremely smooth yet give u a real feel of the turf. I am 5'2".. This is my first bike after 15 years or so and it's a perfect fit. I can actually put my feet on ground while on it. Gear system is good too.. my last bike dint have any gears.. breaks are good.. rides really well. Yet to try this one on the beach.

Best Bike Ever! November 1, 2008 Reviewer:  lil brown (FL)  See all my reviews >

I absolutely love my new bike! The coco is very nice looking. I am 5' and 23 years old. The bike is the perfect fit. Coco is really easy to put together, but if u are not handy take it to a bike store. I finally figured out how to adjust my front brake so it wouldnt touch the wheel by adjusting the screw on the side. I am so in love with my new bike!

Awesome!!! May 28, 2009 Reviewer:  Happy rider (Michigan)  See all my reviews >

I love this bike. I'm 58 years old and 5 feet tall, I can't remember ever having a bike that I could sit on/ride and actually touch the ground. As I've gotten older I'm more afraid of falling and not being able to touch the ground has been a real hold back of riding a bike. I feel so secure on this bike, all I have to do is put my foot down and I'm safe. It was very easy to put together, looks sharp and rides great...thank you Forge.

Best bike I've ever owned!! April 16, 2009 Reviewer:  mommy of a peanut & a bug "Brandy H" (cape canaveral, FL)  See all my reviews >

I love my bike!! It's cute & was easy to put together at least until I got to the brakes! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 simply b/c the instructions weren't clear on how to put the front brakes together! I ended up looking at how the rear brakes were done to be able to put the front brakes on! Other than that minor detail, I love it! It's awesome for riding to the beach & my babyseat works great on the back of it as well!

Great Bike for the Price May 29, 2009 Reviewer:  davebee See all my reviews >

I purchased this bike after extensive research. My wife is 5'3", and was very apprehensive about getting into biking, as she had a bad experience as a child. We originally purchased the Electra Townie 7d 26", which was too large for her, even w/ the seat at the lowest position. We then exchanged that for the Townie 21d, 24" model, which fit her well. Both of these bikes were TWICE the cost of the Coco. I assembled the Coco from start to finish, and now my wife is the one asking me to go ride. This is a great bike to help an insecure rider to regain the confidence, as it low to the ground, provided the person is petite. We now have a Forge Coco and Sawback 5xx. Go Forge!!!

very pleased July 4, 2009 Reviewer:  careful shopper See all my reviews >

Bought this for my wife who is 5 1/2 feet tall. It fits perfect and she is very happy with it. The customer service department were anxious to help with any problems. All in all, a very good choice.

great bike for the price! June 2, 2009 Reviewer:  cruiser biker "Sandra F" (NYC, New York)  See all my reviews >

I'm 5'3 and live in NYC, I use this bike to go to work everyday when weather permits (4 miles both way), it takes me about 25 minutes and the Manhattan bridge has such a beautiful view.
Anyway, I like the bike it's very comfy, I wish it had more speeds.
I put a basket on it and it's really cute and convenient!

Cute and Cool! December 1, 2008 Reviewer:  Caro K "Caro K" (Northern VA)  See all my reviews >

I love my little "Coco" for reasons others have already mentioned -- the color scheme and details, the size (I'm 4'11"), its features and price. It came about 50% assembled. I needed help getting the derailleur (gears) set up properly, but was able to assemble seat, handlebars, front wheel & brake, and pedals on my own. Love the flexibility of the seat and bars. Make sure you have a metric hex wrench set handy. I only wish the weather had stayed warm enough to get more than a few rides in before winter. Totally put a little bell on it!
