Nice Style & Color, BUT Impractical for Wet Climates

I bought the genuine leather version of this style last winter for 2x the price and I am very pleased with them. The Mossimo Kady Boots are almost identical to the 'original.' This style has the perfect short heel for a fall/winter boot and looks dressier than riding or boho styles. It can be worn with skinny jeans, tights, leggings, dresses, skirts, etc.
After close inspection of this product, the following should be noted:
1) Faux-leather (polyurethane) exterior is biodegradable; it is designed to deteriorate after usage.
2) Item cannot be waterproofed (for rain or snow exposure). Water exposure causes the material to break down faster (toe and heel areas are likely to corrode).
3) Faux-leather exterior *crinkles* as you walk and sounds unnatural. In dryer climates, the surface may even crack.
For sizing concerns they seemed to fit true to size, but if you choose to wear them in a colder climate opt for a 1/2 size larger to accommodate a light-medium sock to keep your feet warm. Polyurethane is not breathable so sweaty feet in hosiery will freeze.
I hope this information helps others to make an informed decision about whether or not this product will meet their needs and budget.

I love love love these boots. I found them last year but they were all out of my size and had a weird half zipper. They are so much better this year.
I have very thick calves (17 inches around), so needless to say it is impossible to find boots that fit. These not only fit but I can wear jeans tucked into them! I found that they fit pretty true to size (I wear a 7.5) but if you want to wear thick socks you might want a half size bigger. I bought them in both black and cognac and have to say the cognac has a better "leather" look. The black looks like pleather but it doesn't really bother me.
So, in closing, these boots are so great, very versatile and can definitely be worn casual or dressy! Run out and get your pair!

I just ordered these boots. I have seen the almost identical ones from ..... everywhere and these are not real leather but you cant tell at all. These are sooo much cheaper! The color is awesome....goes with everything. I love how they can be worn with jeans to dresses and skirts and your actually comfortable in them. Definitely recommend. =)

I was very suprised to find this boot in Target and pleased when I saw them.I would never expect to find something so stlyish in Targets shoe department.I was actually thinking of paying an arm and a leg for a pair by .... they looked exactly alike(I actually bought a sandle this summer from Target the exact style from ... as well so just to let you know Target has alot of ...copies..lol) im glad i didnt because I saved so much. I would recommed these boots to anyone who wants something stylish but who are also on a budget.The cognac color looks so much better than the other colors(cognac color doesnt look cheap).I give them two thumbs up!!!!

I just got these in the mail today! They are just as great as they look. I wear a size 9 and they fit perfectly, even with jeans and socks. The color is great - the faux leather looks good and the front scrunches just right to give that slouchy-chic feel. They will definitely be worn a lot this fall!!!

I've been wanting boots like these for a couple years but just couldn't pay the $$$ department stores were asking for. I'm so glad I found these on Target! I ordered them last week and received them today.
I have a difficult time finding boots because I have large calves and they fit me perfectly. Although they are not real leather you can't tell just by looking at them. I'm very satisfied with the quality, especially for this price. I like that the buckle is adjustable, I didn't even have to change the setting.
I also tried them on with different looks and they are great dressed up or down. I'm so excited to wear these boots, they will easily transition from late summer into fall and winter.

these boots are absolutely adorable... too bad i cant get them on. I did once and had throbbing in my feet. These boots are for someone with a thick calf, small ankle medium to narrow foot. I love looking at them and have not sent them back... i wish i could fit them.

I have finally found tall boots that fit my wide calfs. I highly recommend these boots for anyone with difficulties finding tall boots that fit their calves. These boots are comfortable and so cheap. They even have a buckle in the back to make them tighter or wider. They are so cute with jeans, tights and leggings.

I can't get my foot past the heel. It fits fine but takes me laying down, prying, bending, stomping and basically crying to get this on my foot. Too bad because once on I loved these boots, they looked great and were just what I was looking for.

I love these boots. They're my new Low end item to mix with my High end items. These boots do require some work when getting in and out of them, but its worth it. They complete an outfit beautifully. I do recommend buying a size bigger. I generally wear a 9 1/2 but had to purchase a size 10 for a comfortable fit.
