This looks very luxurious and holds up well. The wood shaft makes it look much more expensive. It is more durable than another I paid twice as much for.

$49.99 for a market umbrella? I'm on it! Even if it lasts only a year, but it only lasted opening 2 times! Why? The ribs are not a solid piece of wood, they are pieced, and extremly flimsy. I should have known....

Don't buy this umbrella -- it literally was blown to bits by very inconsequential wind. What a waste of my time and money!

It's a nice umbrella and the price was right, but take it completely down when a storm is on the way!! We had a fairly severe storm last year and the wind snapped this umbrella in half like a toothpick! I had the umbrella down and secured at the bottom with bungee cords, but it didn't help.

We needed an umbrella at the end of last summer, and it was very hard to find one left in stores anywhere. I found this online for a good price and decided to try it. The quality has been so-so. The material is rather cheap and already has some holes and wear. The color is attractive, though. Overall, I'd say it's OK for the price. Better than nothing!
