The HDTV in our office is by no means light weight, so when it came time to find a new stand for it there was difficulty finding one which would support it. This stand is made from solid wood, specs say it supports 220 pounds and, unlike most TV stands, it has a 5th leg in the center to prevent the middle from eventually sagging. This is a welcome addition if your TV is heavy.

It's a beautiful stand and very well built; even the door knobs are heavy. It took less than an hour to assemble, and I had no problem with the doors opening smoothly. The color in the photo is fairly close to the real thing, but to me the actual stand is just a bit darker. It blends well with other medium and dark woods, including cherry.

The open shelves in the center of the stand are just over 19 3/4" wide. The shelves behind the doors are just shy of 12 1/2" wide. The height of all the openings with the shelves removed is 16 1/2".

The shelves are all adjustable to three different heights. One word of caution: At any height, only the top OR the bottom shelf will house DVDs & games in an upright position. This was the most disappointing feature for me, and the reason I deducted one star from the rating. Either the top or the bottom shelf will always be just a bit shy of the height of an upright DVD/game case, so you must choose one or the other when adjusting the shelf.

There are a total of three rear holes for cord management, one behind each door and one in the center of the open shelves. The open shelf also has a half circle carved out of it so you can easily pull the cords through to the top or bottom. The shelves behind the doors do not.

The first stand I was sent was broken, but I called Target and it was replaced with no hassles. The broken one was picked up and a new one was shipped out at no additional cost. Great customer service. Because of this, I fail to see why anyone would keep a damaged product.

Overall well worth the purchase.

I was a little skeptical about this stand having read the reviews about similar "put it together yourself" furniture. I am definitely a believer. Target got this one right. The stand was put together in no time at all. A couple things to mention are that when you are putting on the back panel, make sure to keep the screws loose that hold the side panel on. This is so that the backing will fit all the way into the groove. Otherwise, the back panel won't line up and will make putting the top on impossible. There was one other time earlier in the construction where one of the holes to the bottom wasn't drilled all the way through. I just punched the screw through it and no problem. The stand is beautiful, the construction solid and we hope to enjoy it for years to come.

This Entertainment stand looks like it's worth a lot more than it is. It's sturdy and relatively easy to put together. I was impressed with Target's customer service. I had almost completed putting the stand together when I realized the hinge for one of the doors was broken...after I spent all my time putting most of it together! At first Target had me call the manufacturer to try to get a replacement part but they just ran me around in circles. When I called Target back, the Rep. said she'd simply mail out a whole new stand and that I could take whatever piece I needed so I wouldn't have to take my stand apart. Then all I had to do was repack the damaged door and everything else I didn't need and call them and they would have UPS pick it all up for free. Thanks Target for not making me take my original stand apart!

We love this entertainment stand. We had shopped at numerous places and this was the best value and had a nicer, more traditional wood look than any other television stands we found. We also have had many compliments on it and several people have asked where we found it. Even the person who came to set up our new tv wanted to know where it was purchased! It is heavy and took a while to put together but it is well worth it. It has ample storage and keeps everything neat looking and in its place.

I received this item three days after ordering! It was very easy to put together. The instructions were practically idiot proof. Each piece was clearly labeled and it came with all the hardware needed to assemble - even a little screw driver. The stand is being used for our new 46" flat screen TV and is made of solid wood and very sturdy. It holds our Wii system and a basket full of the games/accessories on the bottom shelf and the DVD player and cable box on the top shelf. The two door cabinets are roomy and conceal all the DVDs. The photos are pretty accurate, but I think it's much nicer in person. We are very pleased with this entertainment stand and would absolutely recommend it.

we were pleasantly suprised with how great it looked in our living room. it really turned out to be everything it looked like in the picture. it is sturdy and easy to assemble. walnut finish looks great!you will not be disappointed, especially if you get it on sale with free shipping.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture and fairly well made. It was very easy to assemble only taking about fifteen minutes total. I was dissapointed with the shipping as it arrived with a few dings in it but upon calling Target's online customer service, the issue was quickly resolved. I recommend this piece if you are looking for something more on the rustic, traditional end of furniture.

My boyfriend and I ordered this tv table and received it less than a week from the day we ordered it. It was really easy to put together - the directions were really clear. None of the pieces were scratched or damaged and after we put it together we couldn't get over how it looks like it cost so much more than it did! Our 40" tv looks perfect, but if we ever go a little bigger like up to 50", it would still fit the table well. We are so happy with it! I would recommend this to all my friends, but I won't because I don't want us all to have the same table :)
