I was skeptical about down alternative but was afraid my dog would find real down a "fun toy". I couldn't be happier with this. It is thin and light and keeps us warm in Illinois where it is sometimes colder than cold. Crunchiness goes away with washing and it fits perfectly in the Woolrich denim duvet I bought off [another site]. You won't be disappointed and the price is great.

I was skeptical at first although there were many high reviews. My boyfriend and I live in Eastern PA and its been pretty darn cold out these past few weeks and this blanket is amazing! We purchased the banket and duvet at the same time. I cannot stress this enough, I LOVE MY BLANKET!!

I bought this comforter for my young children, and it's perfect for them. It's thin, light weight, great for warmer climate. I first bought a twin size and put it in a Shabby Chic duvet cover; the comforter was too thin. But after I change the size to full/queen and put it in a twin duvet, the comforter looks thicker, and I like it. However, if you want a fluffy comforter, this is not the one. Also, I like the fact that I can wash this comforter in my front-load washer at home. The noise also goes away after washing. Best of all, it's on sales.

Surprised by the number of high reviews - we had been happily using a JCP alternative down comforter on our guest bed, and bought this to winterize my daughter's bedding. Seemed fine out of the bag, but after tucking my little one under the covers - it was loud and crunchy, and did not perform like the other comforter we paid just a little more for. Spend a little more and get a REAL alternative down (not just poly fill)!

I was actually quite suprised with this comforter- and pleasantly suprised at that! I purchased this down alternative comforter because I was redoing a room in my Mom and Dad's house as a suprise and wanted something that would stand up to their modern contemporary style, and my father has allergies to dust so this comforter with its bold white color and hypoalergenic quality sounded ideal for placing in the room. I paired it with a black embroidered pillow and some blue accent pillows and it looked amazing. Above that though is the comfort level of the comforter- it is very soft and warm- it needed to be washed to get rid of the "crinkling" noise, but it has so far passed the 30 degree test with flying colors. My only complaint is that it is so bright white and dark pet hair is very noticeable on the comforter.

I bought this comforter for my son after reading other people's reviews. It is light weight but warm. It smells and feels fine after washing and drying and I love it! I would recommend it.

We bought this b/c my husband didn't like the feathers or weight of my old down comforter. It fits perfectly in my [upscale] duvet and is a good weight for both of us. Like the other reviews say, it is a little noisy, but nothing that would keep me awake or bother me.

Fits great in my duvet cover. It is warm enough without being bulky and shifting. The fact that I can launder this to avoid dust mites is another benefit. It is June and I am still using it, but I will retire it for the summer it is starting to get too warm. I washed it before I used it so I did not have a noise problem as stated in other reviews. Great buy, very pleased!

This is a great Down Alternative Comforter! I purchased one for my daughter who has allergies, and she loves it. It did stop making a crinkling noise, after it was washed, and it fit perfectly into her duvet cover. I wasn't sure if it would fit very well in the PBTeen duvet, but it did. It is a nice year-round weight, and it isn't too heavy on her at night. Consider buying this comforter if you don't want down leaking out of your comforter, and you want something you can use all year!
