It is gorgeous. I just made this purchase and when I opened the box was I amazed. The detailing and craftmanship is just like in the picture. I've been looking for a decorative storage piece for my bathroom (I have a wicker theme going on). Once I got this piece it was like, "this looks tooo good to go into a bathroom". So I'm putting it in my bedrooom for right now. This is a definitely "gotta to have" piece if you like dark wood and detailing. I am quite please so far and I'm thinking of getting a second set (for the bathroom of course!)

I am very, very pleased on this Woven Filigree Trunk Set. The picture does not do it justice. The style, workmanship and cost were more than I expected. I was pleased to see the wonderful detail on the hinges, handles, front plate and interior were all exceptional quality. The outside of these trunks have a two tone brownish color which gives it an antique look. The East Indian design goes well with my country style furniture. The cost of these 2 trunks compare to prices in other retail market for 1 trunk was also not what I expected. I am very pleased.

I vote with the two reviewers that found this trunk set outstanding. I've been looking for a while for wicker storage trunks, one for board game sets and one for the laptop when not in use. Nothing has compared to the uniqueness, quality and price of this set. My only regret is that they fit behind the couch and are not front and center on display! Also--I was also surprised at the care in the packaging for shipping. Grab it while on sale--it's a steal.

After reading the other reviews I purchased. These look much cheaper than I expected. I would not recommend for the price. Saving grace, the interior is quite nice.
