I've been kind of disappointed with this whole YBB thing. I thought I'd be getting an amazing workout that would kick my body into shape, but I can't get through any one video- not because they're too hard, but because the flailing dances start to get on my nerves.

I'm all for the spiritual aspect of fitness, but these ladies seem more like exercise revivalists than exercise experts. Also, I don't believe that the movements are as safe as they could be; seems like there's a lot of opportunity for injury if you throw yourself into their less-than-graceful dances.

I love YBB! The cardio parts are good for beginners, not to strenous. The girls personalities are great. It offers great toning exercises and yoga. Customize your workout. I bounce around from the leg exercises, to abs, to yoga.
I love the cardio sculpt section. The abs section will get your abs really tight. Mine have never been tighter and I am 43 years old. Be gentle with yourself as you learn the moves. Don't expect perfection. You will get stronger and more graceful from it too.

This set was sold out at the first 4 closest Targets near my house & the one I got it from now only has one left. It's a very good work out DVD. I absolutely love it! Make sure you watch the videos first before you excerise :] If you get this set, it will come with a squishy ball. The ball is used in some of the excerises. You'll just need to buy dumbells and a mat and you are ready to go! I have nothing bad to say about this workout DVD. I'm still sore from my last workout. Seriously buy it, it's so so so worth it!

Yes, YBB is a little corny from the beginning, but once you get into it, it is pretty fun. I have been doing the DVDs off and on, so I'm not completely hooked on the routines, but they do seem to be effective when I use them, and I can feel my muscles getting tighter the next day. I do have a few issues with the whole "balance" thing, too, but I'm getting there! I would recommend these tapes to anyone wanting to buy something that is a bit different, especially since this is such a great value.

The workouts seemed to go on forever. Only one of the CDs were fun for me. Oh and I hurt my neck a week in. That was scary and had never happened to me and I am an athletic person just looking to rid of the baby weight in a fun way. Well it wasn't fun. I passed it along to a friend but we both chose to go a different route.
