My first Zo died last month after 11 years of use. We only had to replace a kneading rod and bread pan during that time. What a product! I certainly had my moneys worth (and it was a gift!). I look forward to the same with this one!

After making bread one-two times weekly for the past ten years, I treated myself the top of the line bread maker when my previous one died. The "Zo" is very quiet and easy to clean, but I did not like the texture of the bread. It was too dense and almost over mixed. My husband who eats anything didn't care for it either! Also, we make wheat bread most of the time, but you can't control the crust color for wheat bread and it was always too dark. So, now I'm returning the "Zo" to go back to the inexpensive, but good "Breadman Corner Bakery". Hope this review helps someone with their decision.

This product meets and exceeds all of my expectations!!
This unit is my first bread machine ever, and it's the best, most powerful and most technologically advanced bread machine out there!!
No other brand even comes close to this machine! Very sturdy, powerful, quick and efficient!!
No more flour spilled all over the place! Your hands NEVER touch the dough until the loaf of bread is finished and freshly baked! Unless you want to knead the dough by hand.

I will be trueful and inform you that I personally do not have this Zo model. However, I have an older one...and so will you, years later. Back then, bread machines of this genre were $300 to $400, although I got a very good deal. The directions are concise. The recipes are boundless, as you can adapt your favorites to this machine easily with the "homemade" option.
This machine is amazing, as I recommended this one to my friends! Customer Service is excellent. Instructions, excellent.
Many factors can affect this almost no-brainer bread maker, including, but not exclusively: altitude & humidity.
Next, I am not sure if this model has the power outeage feature. Some homes, mine for example, are prone to outeages & surges. I plug my Zo into a surge protector.
I used to be a breadmaker purist, then I made bread in my old food processor (for kneading), then graduated to the Zo!
If you have problems with bread texture or other issues, call their customer service.
FYI: I thought this model also makes jam & has a quick bread cycle (no yeast). Love the memory feature!
I have never had a problem with anything, from jam to whole wheat in my Zo. Perfect & easy!

This was the best gift from my husband and worth every penny. Every bread comes out to perfection. My family loves the bread so much that it doesn't last long in our house. It looks like something you would find in a bakery when it comes out of the machine. The recipes are great and very easy to make. I make bread for bake sales and sell out every time. I highly recommend this investment and you'll have your family begging for more.

Best Machine in the Kitchen

I was given this Zo for my birthday in 2004. This machine is capable of making an endless variety of breads. I have used the programmable settings many times with great success. I also use the manual setting for pizza dough and specialty size breads to bake in the oven. The loaf shape makes cutting easy. When we have overnight guests, I use the timer to begin making bread in the early morning hours and we all wake to the smell of baking raisin bread.

I love this bread machine. It is very quiet compared to other machines I have had and it is very powerful. The bread is delicious. I especially like the raisin cinnamon bread recipe that comes with the machine. I have even made the meat loaf (yes the machine comes with a recipe for meat loaf to make right in the bread machine) and it was very good. I highly recommend this machine.

I bought this Zo for my birthday a little over a year ago.
It never fails to satisfy. I only use the Zojirushi recipes about 1/4 of the time & usually use recipes from an old bread cookbook,"The Bread Machine" by Donna R. German. Either way I'm happy with the results.
The machine mixes & kneads fairly well. Sometimes I assist slightly with a spatula & ounce of water to help it out. Adding secondary ingredients (nuts etc) may require a little help folding in though when using the Add Nuts cycle.
The timer is dependable, the motor & transmission aren't too loud although you can hear from the next room.
It has a good menu system & instructions that are very easy to follow. It's easy to keep clean on the outside but the oven area does get stained.
Construction is adequate so far for weekly loaves of bread. I cannot vouch for daily or commercial use.
As you can tell, I rate this bread machine favorably & while I read a few complaints online about this machine there are no serious red flags.
Bought mine a Target online just in case I needed to return it easily.

Owned another zo for ten years then I bought this one. No comparison. Bread came out dense and no flavor. Stuck in pan . Had to replace pad and paddles inside of one month. Returned to store,

We just got this machine a couple of weeks ago, and we love it! We owned a Breadman for the past ten years, and when it died, we thought there could be no improvement, but we love this unit. We make large, moist loaves of wheat bread, some with onion and cheese. A huge bonus is its cake-making function - it makes a perfect, spongy, moist pound cake, better than we can make in the oven, with no work - just dump in cake mix ingredients. We also make rolls and pizza - the twin paddles work very hard and make every task very effortless.
