Can’t find what you’re looking for?

The selection of items at Target.com may be different from your local Target store. We try to carry the most popular items from our stores – and in fact, we have an expanded selection in many departments. Still, some Target items are not available online. If you can’t find an item at Target.com, use our Store Locator to find the Target store nearest you.

Using Target.com Search

Whether you’re looking for something specific, just browsing, or need information we can help. Simply enter a few words into the Search box in the top left corner of any page, next to the word, “Search.”

You can search within a specific department by using the product drop-down menu within the Search box — or leave the “All Products” option to search throughout the site. Or, if you’re looking for a page with specific text, just select the “Information” category from the drop-down menu. Then, simply click “Go”.

You can enter one or more keywords using any combination of product brand name, product name, type of product or item number. The more keywords you enter, the narrower your search results will be.

Here are a few examples:

• Entering “shirt” finds all shirts, across all departments.
• Entering “blue shirt” finds blue shirts only.
• Entering “Mossimo shirt” will find that brand only.

Narrowing Your Results

Didn’t find what you were looking for? You can sort your results by department, product, brand or price.

• On your initial Search Results page, you can choose any of the links in the “Narrow your results” column at left to search a specific department.

• Once you choose a department to search, you can sort and narrow your results by brand, product or price. To sort the products in order, click on one of the red button above the product list. To narrow your results, you can choose any of the product names, brands or prices listed in the left column.

Search Tips

Didn't find what you were looking for? Here are some additional search tips for conducting an Information search:

By default, when you enter multiple keywords for your search, documents must contain all keywords in order to match.
• cat dog (document contains cat and dog)
• jpeg gif (document contains jpeg and gif)

If you don’t want documents to contain a particular keyword, place a dash '-' in front of that keyword:
• cat -dog (document contains cat but not dog)
• -jpeg (document does not contain jpeg)

If you want the document to contain one keyword or another (but not necessarily both), use a pipe '|' between the two words:
• cat | dog (document contains cat or dog)
• jpeg | gif (document contains jpeg or gif)

If you want to match and exact phrase, wrap keywords in double quotes ":
• "cat and dog" (document contains the exact phrase "cat and dog")
