You can pay for your Target.com order using the following methods:

• Target® Card
• American Express
• Visa
• MasterCard
• Discover
• Debit cards connected with either Visa or MasterCard
• GiftCards
• e-GiftCards

When using a debit card connected with either a Visa or MasterCard, you must have sufficient funds in your account at the time of charge, as we charge for items at the time of shipment. All of these cards are accepted with 1-Click Ordering as well.

Paying by Credit Card?

Using credit cards at Target.com is safe. To provide you with an additional layer of security, all credit card numbers are stored on a computer that is not connected to the Internet. Your complete credit card number is transferred to this secure machine across a proprietary one-way interface. This computer is not accessible by network or modem, and the number is not stored anywhere else.

Having Difficulty?
If you’re having trouble entering your credit card  number or received an e-mail saying we are unable to proceed with your order, please consider the following:

• Did you select the correct card type from the drop-down menu?
• Did you enter the card number correctly?
• Did you select a valid expiration date from the pull-down menus? (Note: Target cards do not require an expiration date.)
• Did you enter your name as it appears on the card?
• If you are using a new (or recently reissued) credit card, has it been activated?
 
Paying with a GiftCard or e-GiftCard?

You can use up to four GiftCards or e-GiftCards per checkout. 1-Click Ordering is not available when using GiftCards and e-GiftCards.

When using GiftCards, please hang on to them until you get a shipping confirmation e-mail from us, just in case we need to amend your order and credit your GiftCard.
