For a complete, current listing of all recalled products, please refer to the agency websites at: www.cpsc.gov, www.fda.gov, www.fsis.usda.gov, or www.nhtsa.gov.
Q. How long are recalls posted on the Target Product Recall webpage for items sold at Target stores or Target.com? A. Typically, postings last for up to 240 days. Please refer to the agency websites that are provided above for recalls issued greater than 4 months ago.
Q. How do I know if I have a recalled product? A. There are a number of resources for guests to obtain information on recalled products. Guests may: • Visit the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at www.cpsc.gov. • Visit the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) website at www.fda.gov. • Visit the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) website at www.fsis.usda.gov. • Visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website at www.nhtsa.gov
Recalls posted on Target.com include the product name, product description, item number, and photo of the affected product. Food recall notices on www.FDA.gov often provide a UPC code and date code or lot code to identify the recalled item.
Guests who have purchased an item on Target.com will also receive an email alerting them of the recall
Check the in-store kiosk located at Guest Services for recall information on recalled items sold at Target stores or sold through Target.com.
Guests who purchased an item with their REDcard will be notified via an automated dialer program, where allowable.
Q. What is the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) and how do I find out more information about it? A. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) is the federal government agency charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of serious injury or death from consumer products.
The CPSC is committed to protecting consumers from products that pose a fire, electrical, chemical, or mechanical hazard or those that can injure children. Additionally the CPSC has a section on its Web site devoted to safety tips at www.cpsc.gov/tips.html.

Q. What do guests do if they have a recalled product? A. Guest should follow the manufacturer’s direction on the recall notice or visit the manufacturer’s website for more detailed information. The contact information for a manufacturer is typically provided within the recall notice. If the recalled product was purchased at Target or on Target.com, guests may return the item for a full refund. A receipt or proof of purchase is not necessary to return a recalled product to a Target store.
Q. Who do guests contact for questions regarding product recalls sold at Target or on Target.com? A. Specific questions may be directed to the manufacturer. However, guests may also contact Target Guest Relations at 1-800-440-0680 or 1-800-316-6151 for Target Owned Brand Foods, e.g., Archer Farms, Market Pantry.
