GiftCards are available for purchase on Target.com.
Each GiftCard is redeemable for merchandise in-store or online. GiftCards can be used for as many purchases as you'd like until the balance reaches zero. To purchase 10 or more GiftCards for corporate incentives or gifts, you can place your order by phone, fax or mail.

GiftCards are not returnable, and cannot be used to pay a bill or to purchase another GiftCard or e-GiftCard. GiftCards are not redeemable for cash or credit except where required by law. You can use up to four GiftCards per order. We can replace the remaining value on a lost, stolen or damaged card with the original purchase receipt, just call 1-800-544-2943.
If your GiftCard balance doesn't cover the total cost of your order, we'll charge the remaining amount to your credit card. GiftCards are charged at the time your order ships. If the cost of the entire order is lower than the balance on your GiftCard, your credit card will not be charged. Your credit card will only be charged if the final price of your order is greater than the balance on your GiftCard.
Delivery
GiftCards usually ship within 24 hours, using standard delivery; they should arrive within 3-5 business days.
Rush delivery is also available for a nominal fee, with cards arriving in 2-3 business days. If you would like rush delivery, please call 1-800-387-8433 to place your order.
Check Your Balance
You can Check your GiftCard balance online by entering your card number and access code in the required fields. Your access code is located on the back of the GiftCard.
To check your balance at any Target, just show your GiftCard to any cashier.
To check your balance over the phone, please call 1-800-544-2943. You will need your access code to complete your request.
GiftCards Terms & Conditions
All GiftCards and e-GiftCards are deemed purchased in and issued from the State of Minnesota. The risk of loss and title to such items pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission to the recipient or delivery to the carrier, whichever is applicable.
e-GiftCards, including unused portions, expire two years from the date of issuance. (Expiration date does not apply in California, Connecticut, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Washington; applies in New Hampshire only for e-GiftCards of more than $100. Expiration date does not apply in any other states where prohibited by law.) |
